This was a really great product. I have skin that tends to develop hard acne or small, bumpy blemishes rather than yellow, pus-filled ones. Especially around that time of the month, I tend to get hard acne on areas like my cheeks and forehead that can leave scars. The main areas it appears are along my hairline, under my chin, and around my eyebrows - places I tend to touch often. The Cica Balm didn't cause new breakouts and helped calm them down without leaving scars. Of course, it didn't make the blemishes disappear overnight, but it prevented them from getting worse and helped them subside gradually. Recently, I even got a painful, invisible-to-the-eye blemish in my nostril, and applying it morning and night really seemed to help it calm down. For me, this product was more about prevention and soothing than rapid spot-clearing.
Cons
The hygienic aspect is a bit of a concern since it's a rolling applicator, so any dust or impurities on the skin could get transferred. They recommend carrying it around and reapplying throughout the day, but the fact that the rolling ball comes into contact with the product inside is a bit iffy.
Tip
I apply it preemptively to areas like my chin, philtrum, hairline, forehead, and cheeks where I tend to get blemishes, especially around that time of the month. It doesn't completely prevent breakouts, but it definitely reduces them and helps them calm down faster.
