As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review after using this product for 7 days! Design: While the exterior looks simple, the glass bottle is a bit heavy, which you can feel every time you use it. However, since it's only for home use and not for carrying around, it's not a big issue! The wide opening makes it easy to control the amount when applying with a cotton pad. Texture: I was worried it might be sticky being a collagen essence, but it's actually a water-type first essence that can be used like a toner! I tried it both as an exfoliating toner and as a skin pack. In both cases, it felt deeply hydrating without any stickiness! It's not an oily formula, so it's great for a light application. Ingredients: As I have sensitive skin, I always check the Hwahae ingredient list before buying skincare products. I was concerned about this CKD essence since it's a functional cosmetic with whitening and anti-wrinkle ingredients, but fortunately, it suited my skin well! There was a slight concern about PEG, but so far I haven't experienced any blemishes! So, I plan to continue using it for now!

There aren't any major downsides! If I had to mention one, there's just one ingredient I'm slightly unsure about. Also, the price... It's 38,000 won for 150ml at full price, but I found out you can buy it in the mid-20,000 won range when it's on sale. Somehow, paying full price feels... Well, it might be best to buy it during a sale!

It's refreshing enough to use as an exfoliating toner, and not heavy at all as a skin pack! I found it to be more hydrating than oily, so when used as a skin pack, it seemed to help improve deep dryness too!
