  I'm already on my second bottle! I remember loving it when I won it as part of The Hwahae Testers, so I bought it when my previous toner ran out. It's hydrating, absorbs well, and provides great moisture - I think I've found my new go-to!

  The price is quite steep. Without a discount, it's a purchase I'd have to think twice about.

  I'm in a rush with wedding preparations and doing my own skincare, but I can't believe I've been using this amazing product as an exfoliating toner all this time! I could kick myself! 😄 Maybe it was because my cotton pads were quite thick, but with thinner ones, it absorbs so well that you could even use it as a mask substitute! Personally, I feel like this hydrating toner makes my skin feel more moisturized and absorbs better!!! Love it!

  While I recommend using thin cotton pads with this toner, thicker pads can actually hinder the absorption of the product into your skin. Despite this, it's still an excellent hydrating toner with great moisturizing effects!

  Here's my review after using it for a month. Before using this, I had severe deep dryness, redness, and my sensitive skin looked lacking in elasticity. The texture isn't too watery, nor is it runny like mucus... it's just slightly heavier than water. My face used to feel tight after cleansing, but with this, I immediately feel like it's filling something in. These days, I feel less dryness after cleansing, so I don't rush to apply it to my face. Right after application, I can feel my skin becoming smoother. I highly recommend this for those with dry skin.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad... Maybe just the feeling that I'm using it up quickly because I apply it generously? The price isn't exactly budget-friendly, unfortunately.

  Tip

  Since I have super sensitive skin and can't exfoliate, once a week I soak a cotton pad with this, place it on my skin to soften the dead skin cells, then wipe them away gently.

  The application feels like applying toner, but it's more hydrating than regular toners. It absorbs well without sitting on the surface. The moisturizing power is definitely better than a toner! While it has a water-essence texture that feels like a toner, it's more like a hydrating toner. After application, your face gets a subtle glow - probably due to the collagen ingredient? Putting it in a mist bottle and spraying it right after cleansing keeps your skin from drying out. In my opinion, it might be suitable for all skin types. It's not greasy and leaves your skin feeling fresh after application.

  For extremely dry skin, it might need a bit more hydration. I'll have to use it consistently to know for sure, but so far I don't have any complaints.

  I wasn't expecting much from the essence after trying the cream, but wow, it's amazing! Curious about why, I checked the ingredients and found it contains bifida. I usually get along well with fermented essences, so that's probably why this product works for me too. My skin has suddenly become dry due to the weather, so I've been adding more richness to my skincare routine. This essence isn't watery like other first essences, but has a slight oiliness to it! Applying a hydrating toner, this CKD essence, and a suitable cream keeps my skin perfectly moisturized until the next morning. It absorbs well, so there's no pilling even when used in the morning. It suits me so well that I'm considering repurchasing...

  Cons

  The reason I'm hesitating is because of the price! That's also why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Since I tend to use it generously, the price in the 30,000 won range feels a bit burdensome unless it's on sale. It makes me think, 'Is it really necessary?'

It feels clean and fresh, leaving the skin hydrated without any dryness - truly giving that 'moist inside, smooth outside' effect! The CKD Collagen Essence can be applied in two ways. One method is to saturate a cotton pad and gently pat it along the skin's texture, allowing it to absorb like an exfoliating toner. Despite its red, lightweight formula, it's incredibly hydrating and moisturizing. When applied after cleansing, following the skin's texture, it instantly makes the skin feel supple. It transforms dull, lifeless skin into a moisturized, vibrant, and elastic complexion. Being a collagen essence, it definitely imparts a natural glow to the skin, and its plumping effect is unique in how it effectively combats dryness and tightness.

  The bottle isn't plastic, so it seems like it could break easily if dropped. It's also a bit on the heavy side.
