It has a really jelly-like texture. You know that feeling in winter when your hands freeze and your joints ache? That's how it feels on your face! The cooling effect is seriously intense. However, since it might be a bit too cold and stimulating, I think it would be great to mix it with other masks. Or it could be perfect for use in summer!
ConsIt's extremely cold, and I'm not sure if it's because of using this or because my period is approaching, but I've noticed a couple of blemishes popping up. Those with super sensitive skin might need to think twice before using this.

The cooling sensation is a bit different from tea tree.
ConsStrangely, after some time, my face develops intense redness. It doesn't happen while the mask is on, and I'm not sure why. Maybe the cooling ingredients don't agree with me, or perhaps modeling masks in general don't suit my skin. Because of this, I won't be repurchasing this product and will try something else instead. I've tried this product's tea tree and charcoal cooling balm versions. I liked the charcoal one the best, but why is it more expensive and not available in a larger size?
TipThe instructions suggest a ratio of 7:5-6, but I prefer using less water, about 4.5 parts to make it thicker - that's my style. The ratio in the instructions makes it too runny and it drips down.

ConsAs soon as I applied it, I felt a burning sensation. I thought it might be because of the mint, but maybe my super sensitive skin interpreted it as irritation because my skin reacted badly. Also, the texture is much thinner than other modeling masks

ConsThe cooling effect lasts incredibly well, but I'm not sure if I left it on too long. The next day, I noticed some small bumps on my forehead, which made me hesitant to use it again. I wonder if the ampoule didn't agree with my skin. Next time, I might try mixing it without the ampoule.
TipUnlike other modeling masks that harden too quickly if you mix them slowly, this one spreads well even if you take your time blending it!

It reacts instantly to the slightest change, and I get itchy and break out from allergenic ingredients. For skincare, I prioritize hydration, soothing, and barrier strengthening. As my first modeling mask, I appreciated how easy it was to use and its good value for money.
ConsI didn't find it particularly cooling. There are many products out there that offer a cooling effect along with soothing properties, so I probably won't repurchase this. To be honest, I found sheet masks to be more refreshing. It has a fishy smell even when mixed with drinking water. My skin had a bad reaction to it. I used it over my eyes and ended up with a stye...

The transparent front allows you to see how much product is left.
ConsDespite being called a 'cooling balm', it doesn't cool at all - instead, it causes a burning sensation. It feels like applying toothpaste. I work outdoors a lot, so a modeling mask is essential in summer, but I made a mistake buying this one. I wanted to use it to soothe my face when it feels hot, but it actually made the burning sensation worse until it dried completely. It burns when you first apply it, and only starts to feel a bit cool after a long time. At that point, it's 100 times better to use a different modeling mask that's cool from the start. I'm going back to the other brand of modeling mask I used before. It's a shame I bought two of these.
TipIf you mix it with just water, it hardens quickly. Try mixing it with essence, skin toner, or moisturizer for a slower setting time.

It's refreshingly cool, which is great.
ConsI tried it before applying makeup, but it seems to leave some residue. That evening, I noticed a few blemishes popping up.
TipSince the texture is tricky to match like in the photo, use the provided scoop to measure it out carefully!

For one application, I quickly mixed 50ml of mask powder with 45ml of purified water, then applied it avoiding the eye area. After about 5-7 minutes, my face started feeling pleasantly cool. I had read reviews mentioning how incredibly cooling it was, but since my skin was quite inflamed, it wasn't that extreme for me. However, it definitely provided immediate cooling relief to my flushed face. The instructions say to remove after 20 minutes, but it still felt cool even at 30 minutes, so I left it on a bit longer. When I finally peeled it off, it came off easily and left my skin adequately hydrated. Most importantly, it instantly cooled down my skin, making the red blemishes less noticeable. The product description mentions it absorbs impurities, so I plan to use it regularly to help detox my skin from makeup residue. Even after finishing with my basic skincare routine, my skin remained cool for about an hour. For the mask residue stuck to the bowl, I let it harden and then peeled it off to dispose of as regular waste. (I considered rinsing it down the drain but was concerned about environmental pollution and clogging the pipes.)
ConsAfter masking during the day, my blemishes seemed to calm down, but when I looked in the mirror around midnight, I noticed even more breakouts than before using the mask. I'm not sure what exactly didn't agree with my skin.
TipTry using your toner or serum instead of purified water when mixing the mask. ------------ If you have super sensitive skin, please do a patch test before applying it directly to your face.

When I first tried it, the cooling effect was so amazing that I thought it might become my holy grail. It worked even better than applying aloe gel and massaging with a cooling tool.
ConsThe day after using the mask, I woke up with painful, hard-to-pop blemishes on my cheeks, philtrum, and chin. I rarely get blemishes on my cheeks, so this was unusual. I'm not sure which ingredient didn't agree with my skin. I want to give it another try, but I'm afraid of getting more blemishes.

The cooling effect might actually irritate your skin... sigh.
ConsRedness was my biggest concern, so at first I loved how it instantly cooled my skin when applied. But the more I used it, the worse the burning sensation became. If you have sensitive skin, I'd suggest trying an herbal modeling mask instead.
TipBefore applying the modeling mask, make sure to generously layer on your usual serum or essence.
