1. Cleansing effectiveness: The Witch Factory is known for its excellent cleansing products, so I was pleased that this one performed above average. With a bit of effort, it even removed mascara cleanly, which was great. 2. Packaging: The packaging itself is hip and super cute! It feels like the Witch Factory, which I knew mainly as a skincare brand, has become trendier. The best part was the one-touch lid, making it easy to open! Unlike other cleansing pads I've tried with screw-on lids, which were less hygienic and convenient, this product allowed for quick and easy cleansing. 3. Convenience for blackhead care: Previously, managing blackheads required either intense rolling with cleansing oil followed by emulsification, or using products with AHA, BHA, and PHA. This product combines cleansing oil and AHA, BHA, PHA ingredients in one pad, making it great for both blackhead care and cleansing. They say 10 seconds is enough, perfect for our busy modern lives! 4. Pad size: The pads are quite large, so one is enough to cleanse well! Very economical.
1. Too slippery: Being a cleansing oil pad, some slipperiness is unavoidable, but the lingering slick feeling after cleansing was a bit uncomfortable. Even opening the container felt unpleasantly slippery. 2. Not perfect cleansing power: While I mentioned decent cleansing effectiveness in the positives, it doesn't remove makeup in one quick swipe. You need to spend some time and rub multiple times for thorough cleansing, which was slightly inconvenient. 3. Overly saturated pads: You might think this is a good thing, but I find that when cleansing pads are too soaked in product, it can get into my eyes when cleansing the eye area. I prefer moderately saturated pads, and this was a bit of an issue here.
After using the pad, you can wipe your face with a water-dampened pad. I didn't read the instructions properly, so I didn't know this - for those who don't know, take note! Also, right now it's 50 pads, and the Witch Factory is offering a 9900 won discount, so go for it if you're considering buying! Personally, I think more people might prefer this in winter rather than summer. I didn't dislike it though!
