Excellent color payoff. The light brown shade on the right is perfect for creating a subtle shadow around the eyes. If you're a fan of shimmer, you can use the pink pearl shade on the left. The product is lightweight, and the case is sturdy, making it ideal for on-the-go touch-ups. The included mirror is a convenient bonus. It's a bit disappointing that the outer case gets dirty easily, making it look less than brand new. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 20, 2022
I'm currently using the NARS Fold Eyeshadow. As a beginner in point makeup, I found that having too many eyeshadow types was overwhelming. This dual-mode product is great - I apply the slightly shimmery orange shade on the left broadly across my entire eyelid and under-eye area. Then I lightly sweep the pale brown on the right along the eyeliner area and outer corners. Although it comes with a brush, I'm not yet comfortable using it, so I apply with my fingers. Perhaps because of this, I didn't notice any excess powder. The color payoff is quite satisfying - one swipe gives immediate pigmentation. The simple design makes it easy to store and carry in my makeup pouch. As a [Summer Cool-Light undertone], I've always used purple shades, but this product works quite well as an accent color. It does make my complexion appear slightly darker, but adding a bit of shimmer brightens up my skin tone. I wish there was one shade darker for covering eyeliner - that's my only regret. I'm currently using another eyeshadow to add an extra layer of depth. If you need to draw eyeliner and want a natural, slightly smudged effect, I found that a brown eyeliner complements this well. For cool summer and mute summer skin types who might only have purple-toned blushers, you can actually use the left shade of this product as a blusher. This way, you can enjoy a complete look without having to buy additional products.
