  Pros

  I've been using this cream for an incredible 15 years. It has a smooth application, and even in winter, it provides excellent hydration without causing any deep dryness (unlike the DMT cream from the same brand, which I found drying). With its gentle ingredients that don't cause blemishes, I always end up coming back to the AI cream. I first encountered this cream at a dermatologist's office - they have a special Physiogel cream for medical use. This speaks volumes about how safe the AI cream is, even for super sensitive skin.

  Cons

  It doesn't absorb well, but I hesitate to call this a drawback because if it were to absorb too quickly, it might actually dry out sensitive skin. Other than that, I really can't think of any negatives.

  Tip

  Try mixing the cream skin and AI cream in a 1:1 ratio before applying to your face. This doubles the hydration and gives you that coveted glowing complexion.

  I switched from the blue Physiogel because it was too oily, and this one is just right - comfortably moisturizing without causing any blemishes! It provides the perfect level of hydration for combination skin, even in the dead of winter.

  Cons

  It might be a tad dry for those with very dry skin in the depths of winter. Also, product residue tends to build up around the tube opening, so you need to clean it regularly.

  I found this cream really helpful when my skin barrier was compromised and my skin became super sensitive. It's been a struggle to find a barrier repair cream since my skin doesn't agree with cica or centella asiatica. Based on my skin's preferences, I avoid ingredients like centella, cica, shea butter, and niacinamide. This product was a gem to discover without those components. The positives are that it's hydrating, soothing, and supports the skin barrier. Despite its rich texture, it doesn't tend to cause blemishes.

  Cons

  The finish feels a bit off to me. It's not the kind of moisturizer that absorbs seamlessly into the skin. Instead, it feels more like a heavy moisturizing blanket sitting on top of your skin, almost as if it's floating slightly above the surface. I think it works better if you apply a hydrating product as a base before using this. It seems to focus more on surface-level moisture rather than deep hydration.

  If it feels too rich, try mixing it with some aloe gel.
