Texture: It's slightly thicker than L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom hand cream! Scent: It has a citrus scent, but it's more like a lemon-y citrus that's strong at first. As time passes, the lingering scent reminds me of phytoncide - like a cedar wood aroma? It feels as if the phytoncide spray typically used in closets is now on my hands. Absorption: It's between rich and light in consistency. Compared to L'Occitane, Aesop is more rich in texture. However, it's similar to the original Kamill hand cream. Slipperiness ranking: Kamill (Original) > Aesop > L'Occitane (Cherry Blossom). L'Occitane feels the most powdery, then Aesop, while Kamill feels like it leaves an oily layer.
I bought this because people said it was better than L'Occitane... but I prefer L'Occitane. I'm not a fan of rich textures, so I like creams that absorb lightly. And the price... it's absolutely wicked. The packaging looks like a paint tube, so I'm worried it might burst at the sides. I keep it at work because of this. It's supposed to have that 'Instagram aesthetic', but I don't see it at all, and it's a bit too large to carry around easily.
