My current favorite product has a subtle tea scent that's absolutely addictive! This is definitely a niche fragrance that people will either love or hate. It's not a common scent, which is exactly why I like it - you won't smell it on everyone else. - ol*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 6, 2023
This fragrance opens with a bittersweet tea note and finishes with a subtle guaiac wood scent. It's a clean, crisp, and no-frills scent that's perfect for daily wear. I really enjoyed using it as my go-to fragrance! While the scent is truly lovely, the longevity and sillage are disappointingly poor. If only they were a bit better, it would be great. Sadly, it doesn't even last beyond the front door. - ki**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2023
This fragrance has a unisex appeal that might suit men slightly better than women. It's woody yet refreshing and clean, with a crisp and invigorating quality. I also appreciated its decent longevity. It's not an incredibly distinctive scent, which is a bit disappointing as it feels somewhat common. - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 16, 2023
The fragrance is lovely. Overall, it's a pleasant scent that doesn't remind me of any particular perfume. It's a citrus and green floral blend that's perfect for spring and summer. The subtle woody notes balance out the citrus, preventing it from being overpowering. The longevity is quite good, lasting a solid 4-5 hours, and the lingering scent is delightful. The sillage is rather close to the skin. While the longevity isn't bad, a single spray only allows you to smell it on yourself. - 50***Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2022
It's a versatile fragrance that's pleasant to use. The scent is fresh yet subtle, making it suitable for any season. The longevity is disappointingly short-lived. Even if you apply it generously, the scent fades away quickly. - da*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedNov 3, 2022
It has a unique paper-like scent. I love how it starts with a light citrus note and then deepens into a woody fragrance that lingers. Unfortunately, the longevity is really too short, which is disappointing. They say it's because of the quality ingredients, but still. - ja*************Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJan 8, 2022
Using it casually after receiving it as a gift... Though it's not really my style. However, the product packaging is super sleek and pretty.... Somehow the base note that should anchor the fragrance feels lacking... To put it positively, the perfume has a clear identity, but negatively, the scent is too monotonous. Because of this, while the charm of the fragrance might greatly appeal to someone whose taste it matches, for others it could be utterly uninspiring. For me, it was the latter.... Try before you buy - pd****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2021
1. Subtle and soft unisex fragrance This is one of my all-time favorite perfumes. I've always loved woody notes, but rarely tried them in fragrances. After getting a recommendation, I bought the 30ml size and now regret not getting the 100ml as I love it so much and use it quickly. While it's woody, it's not too heavy or spicy. It has a fresh woody scent mixed with tea and a hint of powder. Its genderless appeal makes it suitable for any gender, time, season, or style (unless you're going for an ultra-feminine look). However, it's not a cute or lovely scent, so it might not suit those aiming for that image. 2. Compact bottle and leather sleeve Since colognes have shorter longevity, Atelier Cologne offers a 30ml travel bottle. When you buy the 30ml size, it comes with a leather sleeve for protection on-the-go. The compact size is perfect for carrying in your bag, and the sleeve prevents the glass bottle from breaking. I believe they also offer engraving services in-store! 1. Longevity Admittedly, the longevity is quite short, lasting only about 2 hours. But you shouldn't expect long-lasting wear from a cologne... The ingredient list is simple and clean for a fragrance product, so it's perfect for a quick mood boost before going out or for frequent reapplication throughout the day. 2. Value for money considering usage Now that I think about it, being a cologne means it has short longevity and needs frequent reapplication, yet it's quite expensive for what it is. It's priced similarly to EDTs and EDPs from other comparable high-end brands... While I love the scent, I'll have to reconsider repurchasing due to the value for money in terms of longevity. 1. Layering suggestion On days when you find using it alone a bit plain or want to add some vibrancy, try layering it with Atelier Cologne's Clementine California. I love combining these two in summer. The mix of fresh woody notes and zesty citrus helps make even the most humid Korean summers more bearable. 2. Application tip Perfumes can cause discoloration or damage to fabrics due to their alcohol content and other chemical components! Instead of spraying directly on clothes, if you want to scent your outfit, spray the fragrance in the air above your head and walk through the mist. This allows the fine fragrance particles to settle evenly over a wider area of your clothes. - ks********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2021
This fragrance has become my absolute favorite. I was using Pomelo Paradis before, but I picked this up during a 100+30ml sale. Since there was a discovery set available, I tested it before buying, and the scent is truly my cup of tea - I love it so much. Of course, scent is subjective, but for me, it's perfect. The blend of tea, leather, and woody notes, with a musky base that smells like skin, is not overpowering or headache-inducing. It's subtle and I adored it from top to base notes (though honestly, I bought it for the black tea scent and lingering notes that just swept me off my feet). Ulang is the first fragrance that made me realize I could wear woody and leather scents. It's perfect for autumn, but there's also a cool undertone that makes it suitable for rainy summer days. The scent isn't heavy or stuffy, and its unisex nature makes it great for any gender. It would be lovely to share with a partner - I even spray it on my bedding! I'm so obsessed lately. Sadly, I think I'll go through the 100ml bottle quickly. The longevity is definitely not great. It feels like the scent, including the base notes, completely fades after half a day. Other than that, I haven't found any downsides yet! In these times when it's difficult to test fragrances in stores, even the 30ml bottle is quite pricey. I thought buying a discovery set wasn't a bad idea, and it really made testing convenient, helping me avoid products I didn't like. That saved me money in the long run! They recently had a 100+30ml promotion during a live stream event, so keep an eye out for deals like that. I actually bought it elsewhere before seeing the promotion, so I ended up buying it again. Hoping you find a scent you love!
