  Though it's an unfamiliar brand, I received this cream as a gift and used up the entire jar. When you open the lid, you're greeted with a forest-like, pine scent. While it's not irritating, the artificial fragrance made me personally prefer unscented products. The texture is like melted sorbet, and it absorbs well with a smooth, hydrating feel. It has a lightweight moisturizer sensation. The cream absorbs nicely without any pilling.

  Cons

  The jar packaging makes hygienic storage and use challenging. For dry skin in winter, it lacks sufficient oil and moisture balance. The product's performance was average, and I wasn't impressed with the ingredient list, so I won't be purchasing it to try again.

  1. Fragrance The scent is absolutely lovely! It's not overpowering at all, but rather a subtle and pleasant aroma. It really puts me in a good mood when I apply it. I can't quite pinpoint the exact scent, but it reminds me of a forest? 2. Application It's not thick or sticky at all. Sometimes creams can be heavy or extremely greasy when applied, but this one is nothing like that. It absorbs into the skin smoothly and effortlessly. 3. Hydration This is perfect for dry, cold weather. It definitely tackles dryness! Being a cream, I only apply a small amount in the morning, but even that little bit keeps my skin from feeling dry at all. At the same time, it doesn't feel overly oily either. When I apply a bit more before bed than I do in the morning, I wake up with skin that looks amazing. It's a great alternative to a face mask when you're feeling lazy.

  Cons

  The fact that you have to scoop it out to apply is a bit inconvenient. There is a spatula included, but it's still slightly bothersome. Other than that, I don't see any major drawbacks. It might not be suitable for those with oily skin though...

  This review is based on my experience as a selected member of The Hwahae Testers. Usage period: October 6-14, 2021 1. Packaging It's absolutely gorgeous! The packaging is so thoughtfully designed that it lifts your mood every time you open it. I think I'd feel happy with each purchase just because of this. 2. Fragrance Although it's mentioned that artificial fragrances are used, it has a pleasant scent reminiscent of a flower shop. I absolutely love it. 3. Texture The rich texture absorbs well into the skin. The oil and moisture balance is great too. Unlike many brightening products that can dry out the skin, this one keeps it moisturized. It also works well under makeup. 4. Brightening effect While it's marketed as a brightening product, I believe it's unrealistic to expect significant results in just two weeks. At this point, I'm not sure about its effectiveness. If I write another review after extended use, I'll update my thoughts on this. 5. Amount I've seen reviews mentioning the small amount, but I don't feel that way at all. Given its rich, non-runny texture, I think it will last quite a while. For the review, I tried using it generously, but I found that using the right amount is better as excess product can sometimes remain on the face. 6.   My skin type: I have dry skin, and I'm starting to experience blemishes due to the changing seasons. I also have some small bumps. Packaging: When I first received the package and opened it, it felt like receiving a gift. The packaging was beautifully done and eco-friendly, which I really appreciated. It's so nice that I wouldn't hesitate to give it as a gift to others! Scent: It has a fragrance reminiscent of when you first walk into a flower shop. For me, the scent wasn't too strong but pleasantly subtle. However, my parents didn't like it, so it seems the fragrance can be a matter of personal preference. Application: For a moisturizer, it's neither too runny nor too heavy. It applies smoothly on the face, which I really liked. Makeup: On days when I wear makeup, my skin used to get dry, causing my makeup to separate in the afternoon.   Natural, universally appealing scent I usually dislike artificial fragrances and even natural scents can sometimes feel synthetic, but this one doesn't give that impression at all. Personally, I find the scent very pleasant, and I think even those who don't love it won't dislike it. Moisturizing hydration with excellent staying power It's a bit different from typical moisturizers. While not pure hydration itself, it has a texture reminiscent of a mix between eye cream and sunscreen, and you can feel the hydration when applied. It seems to have a slight richness, so rather than absorbing into the skin, it feels like it creates a moisture barrier. As a result, it doesn't evaporate quickly and remains even after sleeping. Beautiful packaging perfect for gifting Among all the moisturizers I've tried, this has the prettiest bottle, and the packaging is so meticulously done that it would make an excellent gift.

  Why a jar instead of a pump bottle? I think it would have been much better if it came in a pump bottle. The texture doesn't seem too thick for a pump, so I'm puzzled why they chose this type of container. Spatula needs separate storage It doesn't seem very hygienic. I think the best solution would be to create a groove inside the lid to store the spatula.

I thought it might be over-packaged, but it was actually wrapped in eco-friendly materials like corn starch fillers. Scent: It's healing in itself! The fragrance is universally appealing and absolutely lovely. It's not artificially strong either. Gentle Ingredients: I looked into it because I loved using it so much. It's great that it has 8 'free-from' ingredients, making it very gentle. I think these kinds of cosmetics suit me well without causing any blemishes due to their mildness. User Experience: The feeling of nourishment from deep within was really wonderful. I first used it before bed, and the next morning when I washed my face, my skin texture felt so smooth that I wondered if it was because of this cream. I continued using it for a few more days to be sure. It's been a long time since I've felt this strongly about a product, probably since that brown bottle from Est**.   When applying before bed, layering it two or three times was really great! This fall and winter, I plan to slather on plenty of this cream!
