This is my first time using an eye balm! I have dry skin, so I've tried eye creams before, but this is my first time using an eye balm. It wasn't as bad as I expected. Since I have very dry skin, anything I apply tends to feel dry, especially around the eye area, where my eyes sometimes get irritated and watery. After using the eye balm, I didn't feel any dryness at all - it was quite moisturizing. There is the typical oily feel of a balm, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The package includes a spatula, so I can apply it hygienically. As I'm just turning 30, I really needed something to help with the fine lines around my eyes, and this seems to be a good product. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because the signature scent of the Simes products seems a bit strong for the eye area. Other than that, I'm satisfied!

I usually use a cream-type eye cream, but after completing my makeup, my skin tends to become dry again. So I like to lightly apply some eye cream or gently pat on some lip balm on top, but then my makeup ends up getting removed, which is a total mess. This product is in a balm form, so after skincare and makeup, my skin doesn't seem to get as dry. The cream-like eyeshadow is small in size, but with the included mini spatula, you can pick up an amount the size of a fingernail and apply it, which should be enough to last through the winter. After scooping some onto the palm of your hand, rubbing it with your fingers will melt the clumps, creating a soft and oily texture. In the dry and sensitive winter skin around my eyes and lips, this product miraculously restored my skin to its original state.
