My scalp is not only oily but also sensitive, with occasional blemishes. That's why I pay close attention to shampoo ingredients. I used to use Revi-vre Sebo products, which were great for controlling oil, but the ingredients weren't ideal. So, I stopped using it and became a shampoo nomad until I tried this product. At first, the texture reminded me of herbal shampoos, but it doesn't have that typical herbal scent. It lathers well, and unlike many scalp shampoos that can leave hair feeling stripped, this one doesn't make my hair feel dry after use. While it's not specifically for oily hair (it's more for preventing hair loss), it's suitable for daily use. What I love most are the ingredients. It contains antibacterial components that reduce scalp bacteria over time, as well as soothing and hydrating ingredients. This is great because overly strong cleansing shampoos, while effective at removing oil, can strip the skin barrier and make my scalp feel sensitive and prone to more blemishes. Thanks to the soothing and moisturizing properties, I've noticed a significant reduction in scalp issues. I'd recommend this to those with super sensitive skin or scalps that don't produce excessive oil. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the fragrance ingredients added for scent, which is a bit disappointing. However, I'm using it with the mindset that it's good enough despite this. Also, regarding the price, it's not that I'm looking for something cheap, but it does feel a bit on the expensive side. But I suppose there's a reason for that. To control oiliness, I do a pre-wash, like a preliminary rinse. Before shampooing, I thoroughly wet my scalp with lukewarm water to open up the pores. Then I apply the shampoo, massaging it into different sections of my scalp with my fingertips. I leave the lather on for about five minutes, during which time I might brush my teeth. When rinsing, I make sure to cleanse thoroughly, as I believe the rinsing process is even more crucial. Using a scalp tonic can be great for nourishing and hydrating the scalp. Overall feel and texture I have a dry scalp, while my dad has an oily one. We both have dry hair. Overall, it seems my dad had a better experience, so this shampoo might be more effective for oily scalps! The shampoo isn't too thick or thin, but leans more towards the thinner side. The scent is quite unique - it starts off herbal, then transforms into a subtle floral fragrance. It's probably the most distinctive scent I've experienced in a shampoo! 2. Cooling effect and itchiness Surprisingly, we felt a cool sensation when applying the shampoo to the scalp! My dad found it interesting too. There was no itchiness at all! I occasionally experience some scalp itching, but those symptoms completely disappeared when using this shampoo. 4. Effectiveness While I don't have hair loss concerns, so I can't speak to its effectiveness there, it definitely helped with itching. (with updates) I have an oily scalp that produces excess sebum, especially in summer. Recently, I've been dealing with scalp blemishes, so I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to try a shampoo with promising ingredients. Thank you! What I liked is that it's different from regular shampoos. It has a scent reminiscent of mugwort or herbs, which seems beneficial for the scalp. It also appears to have calmed my blemishes to some extent. I feel like my hair has become thicker. I already have strong hair, but it feels even thicker after use. This could be great for those with fine or limp hair. After about three weeks of use, my hair seems fuller and grows faster! The stiffness after drying has somewhat diminished, leaving my hair reasonably soft. When washing, my hair becomes very stiff, and the shampoo doesn't lather well. I need to pump it about five times to feel like it's cleaning properly (as a woman with thick hair). After drying, it feels a bit better, but using this shampoo alone might not be enough. However, it could be good for those needing more vitality in their hair. Despite the good ingredients, my eyes sting and hurt even if only a tiny amount of shampoo gets in them. Even though I don't have particularly thick hair, I need to pump twice to get enough lather to cover my entire scalp and shoulder-length hair thoroughly. It has a cooling effect, and even without using conditioner or treatment, my hair doesn't feel stiff. I haven't used any separate treatment products during these 10 days. Honestly, it's hard to tell if it's helped with hair loss after just 10 days. Usually, I try new recommended products for about a week and pass them on to family members if I don't see results. However, I plan to use Naho Shampoo until it's finished. If the improvements in my scalp condition and hair loss symptoms continue, I would consider repurchasing it. The fragrance is only noticeable at first and doesn't linger after rinsing, which isn't necessarily a problem. However, you need to pump several times to get enough lather for your scalp and entire hair length. It might be nice if there was a subtle, natural scent that remained after washing. Naho Shampoo doesn't have a strong, artificial smell. Instead, it has a subtle, natural floral scent that's very pleasant and not overwhelming. 3. User Experience The most crucial aspect is how it feels to use. Being a scalp care shampoo, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, which felt a bit odd at first.
