I have an extremely oily scalp, severe seborrheic dermatitis, and I'm also experiencing hair loss - it's a total disaster for my hair. I've been consistently using samples of this product, and it's been a decent option. The lather is rich and soft, and its cleansing effectiveness is pretty good, making it suitable for those with oily scalps. It leaves a refreshing feeling after use, which was great for summer. However, for me, the scent was too strong. It had this sour smell, like some kind of herbal medicine, which I didn't like. I'm not sure about its effectiveness for hair loss, and it didn't provide any soothing effect for my seborrheic dermatitis. - fk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 25, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My scalp is not only oily but also sensitive, with occasional blemishes. That's why I pay close attention to shampoo ingredients. I used to use Revi-vre Sebo products, which were great for controlling oil, but the ingredients weren't ideal. So, I stopped using it and became a shampoo nomad until I tried this product. At first, the texture reminded me of herbal shampoos, but it doesn't have that typical herbal scent. It lathers well, and unlike many scalp shampoos that can leave hair feeling stripped, this one doesn't make my hair feel dry after use. While it's not specifically for oily hair (it's more for preventing hair loss), it's suitable for daily use. What I love most are the ingredients. It contains antibacterial components that reduce scalp bacteria over time, as well as soothing and hydrating ingredients. This is great because overly strong cleansing shampoos, while effective at removing oil, can strip the skin barrier and make my scalp feel sensitive and prone to more blemishes. Thanks to the soothing and moisturizing properties, I've noticed a significant reduction in scalp issues. I'd recommend this to those with super sensitive skin or scalps that don't produce excessive oil. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the fragrance ingredients added for scent, which is a bit disappointing. However, I'm using it with the mindset that it's good enough despite this. Also, regarding the price, it's not that I'm looking for something cheap, but it does feel a bit on the expensive side. But I suppose there's a reason for that. To control oiliness, I do a pre-wash, like a preliminary rinse. Before shampooing, I thoroughly wet my scalp with lukewarm water to open up the pores. Then I apply the shampoo, massaging it into different sections of my scalp with my fingertips. I leave the lather on for about five minutes, during which time I might brush my teeth. When rinsing, I make sure to cleanse thoroughly, as I believe the rinsing process is even more crucial. Using a scalp tonic can be great for nourishing and hydrating the scalp. It's really important to choose your scalp tonic or shampoo based on your individual scalp type. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Overall feel and texture I have a dry scalp, while my dad has an oily one. We both have dry hair. Overall, it seems my dad had a better experience, so this shampoo might be more effective for oily scalps! The shampoo isn't too thick or thin, but leans more towards the thinner side. The scent is quite unique - it starts off herbal, then transforms into a subtle floral fragrance. It's probably the most distinctive scent I've experienced in a shampoo! 2. Cooling effect and itchiness Surprisingly, we felt a cool sensation when applying the shampoo to the scalp! My dad found it interesting too. There was no itchiness at all! I occasionally experience some scalp itching, but those symptoms completely disappeared when using this shampoo. 4. Effectiveness While I don't have hair loss concerns, so I can't speak to its effectiveness there, it definitely helped with itching. My dad was really looking forward to trying it due to his hair loss worries, and he said it exceeded his expectations! He felt it was more about promoting a healthy scalp to prevent hair loss rather than directly stopping hair fall. However, since this review is based on just 2 weeks of use, it's hard to fully evaluate the long-term effects of a product designed for continuous use. That's a bit disappointing. It doesn't lather well, so you need to use more pumps. After about 2 weeks of use by both my dad and me, we can already see the bottom of the bottle... And above all, even though I'm writing this detailed review after winning it in an event, the devilishly high price makes me hesitate to repurchase it... The price is really disappointing. The lathering issue can be somewhat resolved by thoroughly wetting your hair first. After washing, your hair feels neither too dry nor too shiny - just a moderate level of dryness. It's essential to use a treatment or conditioner afterwards, and using an essence could help address the drawbacks while doubling the effectiveness! - rn*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 12, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

(with updates) I have an oily scalp that produces excess sebum, especially in summer. Recently, I've been dealing with scalp blemishes, so I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to try a shampoo with promising ingredients. Thank you! What I liked is that it's different from regular shampoos. It has a scent reminiscent of mugwort or herbs, which seems beneficial for the scalp. It also appears to have calmed my blemishes to some extent. I feel like my hair has become thicker. I already have strong hair, but it feels even thicker after use. This could be great for those with fine or limp hair. After about three weeks of use, my hair seems fuller and grows faster! The stiffness after drying has somewhat diminished, leaving my hair reasonably soft. When washing, my hair becomes very stiff, and the shampoo doesn't lather well. I need to pump it about five times to feel like it's cleaning properly (as a woman with thick hair). After drying, it feels a bit better, but using this shampoo alone might not be enough. However, it could be good for those needing more vitality in their hair. Despite the good ingredients, my eyes sting and hurt even if only a tiny amount of shampoo gets in them. I wonder if this is unrelated to the ingredients? Considering the price, the volume is small, and it doesn't lather well, which might make me hesitate to buy it again. But the claim about hair becoming fuller is no lie. +Update My dad has always had an itchy scalp prone to dandruff, and he's been experiencing hair loss in recent years. He's been using this shampoo properly lately, and amazingly, his hair has become thicker, and there's a noticeable reduction in dandruff. It's incredible to see how much more comfortable his scalp looks. He's tried various anti-hair loss shampoos and scalp treatments before, but this seems to be the first product with such visible results. He's also happy about his hair feeling thicker! I checked the market price, and it's quite expensive! But I'm planning to buy it again after we finish this one. Thank you for creating such a good product. Since it doesn't lather well, it might be best to pump several times, do an initial wash, then follow up with another shampoo. Finish with a treatment or product to soften the hair. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The brown bottle with a cute name sticker gives off a strong eco-friendly vibe. Ingredients: Free from 16 harmful ingredients, uses ginseng extract instead of purified water, contains 17 naturally derived extracts, and uses allergen-free fragrance Scent: It has a mood-lifting fragrance. Even when I don't want to get up in the morning, smelling this makes me feel refreshed. People often ask what product I'm using. The contents inside seem to contain ginseng. Cleansing effectiveness: Like most anti-hair loss products, it's a bit stiff, but less so than others. I have bleached hair and usually need to use treatment or oil when drying, but with this, my hair smooths out well without any additional products. One pump in the sink while washing hands creates an incredible amount of lather. Symptom relief: It's too early to tell, but it's gentler and more refreshing than other anti-hair loss products. Even with just blow-drying, my hair has noticeable volume. The amount from one pump is small. With my thick hair, I needed 8-10 pumps. The brown bottle makes it hard to see how much product is left. The rather steep price is a bit burdensome. If they just changed the packaging, it would be an excellent shampoo. I've been worried about hair loss, and recently a botched self-dye job left my scalp extremely sensitive. Although I'm on a business trip on the review deadline and don't have many photos, I'll share my experience using the Naho Shampoo consistently for two weeks. The shampoo has a deep brown color with a thin, runny consistency. Given the color and ginseng extract as the top ingredient, I expected a traditional herbal scent. However, it has a strong, pleasant herb fragrance that I really love. The scent lingers in your hair for quite a while. Like many hair loss shampoos, it has a refreshing cooling effect. As someone who enjoys cooling shampoos, I appreciated this sensation, but be careful not to get it in your eyes - it can sting quite a bit! Despite its thin consistency, it lathers well. I initially used more than usual, thinking it wouldn't foam easily, but that wasn't necessary. It produces plenty of lather and cleanses effectively. With only fragrance listed at the end of the ingredients, I felt reassured about using this for two weeks, hoping for hair loss benefits. As someone experiencing ongoing hair loss, it's unrealistic to expect significant results in just two weeks. Hair loss requires consistent care over time, so I can't hastily claim it's effective. This shampoo seems better suited for those with oily scalps rather than dry ones. Like most hair loss shampoos, it can leave hair feeling a bit stiff, so be sure to use a good conditioner. While I didn't experience any specific blemishes, I used this consistently for two weeks for the Hwahae Testers review despite my scalp being very sensitive and itchy from a bad self-dye job. Perhaps because my scalp was in such poor condition, the shampoo couldn't alleviate the itchiness. Also, the packaging doesn't appeal to me personally. It doesn't look particularly premium for its price point. Instead of immediately rinsing after lathering, try massaging your scalp with the foam or leaving it on like a hair pack for a while before rinsing. I saw on TV once that this method helps to better cleanse dead skin cells and impurities from the scalp. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It doesn't have that watery feel typical of cheap shampoos! After rinsing, my hair feels fuller and more voluminous. It also lathers up really well! It claims to help with hair loss, but I haven't noticed much of an effect in that area. Though to be fair, I haven't finished the entire product yet, so that could be why. Make sure to work up a good lather when using it. - bl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While the redness on my scalp has improved through medication and various dermatological treatments, I still deal with blemishes and inflammation due to seborrheic dermatitis. These issues worsen when seasons change or when I'm tired, causing severe breakouts on my scalp and face. I'm always careful about shampoo ingredients and choose ones that won't irritate my scalp. I've been using Naho Shampoo for about 10 days as part of the Hwahae Testers program. The shampoo has a brown color, similar to herbal shampoos, and has a thin consistency. Even though I don't have particularly thick hair, I need to pump twice to get enough lather to cover my entire scalp and shoulder-length hair thoroughly. It has a cooling effect, and even without using conditioner or treatment, my hair doesn't feel stiff. I haven't used any separate treatment products during these 10 days. Honestly, it's hard to tell if it's helped with hair loss after just 10 days. Despite the recent hot and humid weather, I haven't had to visit the dermatologist due to itchy scalp or worsening seborrheic dermatitis inflammation. My hair feels softer, and there's a bouncy feeling after washing, so I didn't use any separate hair tonic or essence. The fragrance doesn't linger, which didn't bother me. Overall, it's gentle on the scalp and leaves my hair feeling soft after washing. ---------- Update after 16 days of use: I have atopic symptoms and seborrheic dermatitis, which my doctor explained can lead to hair loss due to clogged pores from blemishes. They assured me that as these symptoms improve, hair growth should resume. So, I've been careful about checking shampoo ingredients, focusing on cleansing my scalp thoroughly with lather, and rinsing properly. I've continued using Naho Shampoo even after writing my initial Hwahae Testers review, and I've noticed significantly less hair fall. Usually, I try new recommended products for about a week and pass them on to family members if I don't see results. However, I plan to use Naho Shampoo until it's finished. If the improvements in my scalp condition and hair loss symptoms continue, I would consider repurchasing it. The fragrance is only noticeable at first and doesn't linger after rinsing, which isn't necessarily a problem. However, you need to pump several times to get enough lather for your scalp and entire hair length. It might be nice if there was a subtle, natural scent that remained after washing. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. It seems effective to massage the scalp firmly with your fingertips while lathering after the first pump, then use a second pump to wash the hair. - po***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Other anti-hair loss shampoos had such a strong herbal scent that they were difficult to use. This one, however, has great benefits for hair loss prevention, and while it does have a unique fragrance, it's not overpowering at all. I really love it! Since it's gentle and free from harsh ingredients that create a lot of lather, those expecting a rich foam might find it a bit inconvenient. It's made with mild ingredients, so the lather isn't as abundant as some might prefer. - nh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Ingredients I was looking for a shampoo with good ingredients and without harmful ones, as many shampoos contain questionable components. I was relieved to find that Naho Shampoo has only beneficial ingredients - there's nothing to criticize! 2. Fragrance Since the scent lingers after washing, a shampoo's fragrance is important. Naho Shampoo doesn't have a strong, artificial smell. Instead, it has a subtle, natural floral scent that's very pleasant and not overwhelming. 3. User Experience The most crucial aspect is how it feels to use. Being a scalp care shampoo, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling, which felt a bit odd at first. But it's more like a cool, minty sensation that's refreshing for the scalp - perfect for summer use. Even while drying my hair, my scalp felt cool and refreshed. So, despite not having that super-clean feeling, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. However, it can leave the hair a bit dry, so I'd recommend following up with a conditioner, treatment, or hair mask. The downsides are: 1. Value for money While the price is likely due to the high-quality ingredients, it's a bit expensive considering the volume. It might be a burden to purchase regularly. 2. Lather I'm not sure if it's because I haven't mastered the technique yet, but sometimes it lathers well, and other times it barely lathers at all. In my experience, it seems to lather better when you wet your hair thoroughly and then apply the shampoo to create bubbles. Still, the lather isn't as rich as some might prefer, so that could be seen as a drawback. It's not exactly a pro tip, but for an even more refreshing experience, I found that leaving the shampoo on for a bit before rinsing makes the scalp feel even cooler. That's just my personal observation!
