I tried Innisfree skincare products for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing they are! I'd only used their lip products before and just knew that their Green Tea line was popular. But after trying this as part of The Hwahae Testers, I think I've found a truly fantastic product! First off, the scent is absolutely divine! I know some people prefer unscented products, but for me, fragrance is crucial! No matter how good the ingredients are, if it doesn't smell nice, I'm less likely to reach for it. This has a refreshing and fragrant scent that lifts my mood every time I apply it! And it's not just about the scent - the texture might seem thin to some, but that's why it absorbs so well! It glides on smoothly without any stiffness at all! Most importantly, even though autumn has been here for a while, some might not have noticed due to the lingering warmth. But I felt the change quickly, especially with my skin's sudden dryness. Recently, I've been experiencing extreme dryness! Not just on my face, but even the eczema patches on my hands are having a dead skin cells party! While my face wasn't flaking, I noticed increased dryness when applying mineral sunscreen. But after using this product, I hardly felt any deep dryness - my skin felt comfortable! Highly recommended! It has a rich feel, so even when applied alone, there's no dryness and it gives a nice glow. As you can see in the 4th and 5th photos, I have eczema on my fingers with some flaking. I applied the cream there too, and my hands became moisturized without any blemishes! I strongly recommend this to anyone who often feels dry and is looking for a product with just the right amount of richness~
For me, the pros far outweighed the cons, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say that compared to other creams, it doesn't completely eliminate the stickiness when applying powder after makeup. My usual cream would make my face so matte after powdering that it felt almost too dry, and my hair wouldn't stick to it at all. This one doesn't give that super-matte feeling after powdering. But that's why I felt less deep dryness during this seasonal change! Anyway, some people might feel a slight stickiness due to its rich texture! So, I think it's better used to combat the dryness felt after applying mineral sunscreen rather than on bare skin. Also, because the texture is a bit thinner compared to other creams, it might run out faster. Lastly, when using the jar type, I recommend using a spatula instead of your fingers. Since it doesn't come with one, you might want to use a spare one you have at home or pick one up from a dollar store!
Innisfree often has discounts on various sites like Cou♡, Weme♡, Ti♡, Gmar♡, etc. I recommend buying from the cheapest place after applying coupons~ (At the moment, Cou♡ seems to be the cheapest!)
