I absolutely loved that this is a low pH shampoo. I used to only use shampoos with menthol or tea tree oil because my scalp tends to get oily. While those did prevent oil buildup and dandruff, they left my scalp feeling dry. Just like our face needs hydration to be healthy, I realized I should have been nourishing my scalp after cleansing it thoroughly. That's when I discovered this product. I appreciate its gentle ingredients and how it nourishes the scalp. Now, I use my seborrheic dermatitis shampoo first, followed by this Alpha Biotin shampoo. It's like a two-step routine: cleanse, then nourish. I've been using this combo for two weeks and I'm really satisfied. The subtle fragrance is lovely too!
Since it's a low pH formula, those with very oily scalps might find that this product alone doesn't cleanse thoroughly enough. I'd recommend using it in conjunction with a shampoo specifically for seborrheic dermatitis for better scalp cleansing.
If you're dealing with seborrheic dermatitis, I'd suggest using a shampoo designed for that condition first, then following up with the Alpha Biotin Hair Strengthening Shampoo. That combination should work perfectly!
