I've been going to chahongroom and using some of their products, so I was thrilled to be selected for The Hwahae Testers! I'm not usually a fan of setting products, but this one had been heavily promoted on social media with lots of reviews, so I was curious. 1. Scent: Average Compared to chahongroom's curl cream scent, this one feels pleasant. I was worried because the curl cream scent was awful, but this fragrance is quite ordinary. 2. Setting power: Average, but considering the formula, I'd say it's good. Please refer to the attached photo, focusing on the bangs. Before: Fixer + blow dry After: 6-7 hours later on a very rainy day My hair is naturally thin and limp, losing curls and volume quickly. Considering it was pouring rain all day, I'd say this level of hold is pretty decent. Moreover, the formula isn't like a typical setting spray with gas and a stiff finish. It's just a spray type that doesn't make your hair super stiff, which I liked. Recommended if you dislike rigid setting sprays. Allows for a natural setting. 3. Repurchase intention I'd consider repurchasing as I might miss it if I run out, but I'd probably debate between this and Bo*na fixer. They're similar, but Bo*na has a stiffer finish. 4. The packaging is pretty, as expected from chahongroom

On first use, it was tricky to control the amount. I sprayed twice and suddenly my hair felt sticky, which was alarming. I really recommend following the instructions: spray lightly 2-3 times from about 20-30cm away.

When styling your bangs, if you have side bangs like me or longer bangs, try spraying in two stages: 1. Spray while curling from the ends to the middle 2. Spray again after fully curling This ensures even application and longer-lasting hold
