The formula is extremely fluid, applying like a lotion. It has great absorption and leaves behind almost no stickiness. It is also very gentle and incredibly moisturizing. Even with dry skin, I barely felt any dryness. There is no clumping, so applying it before base makeup allows the makeup to go on beautifully.

I usually don't apply sunscreen well before putting on makeup, but I tried the Holika Holika sunscreen since I heard it was good! First of all, it's waterproof, so I think it's great to use in the summer!! There's no white cast, and it has a moderate oily feel, so I think it's good to use when I need sunscreen for a quick errand, other than when I'm putting on makeup. Since my T-zone tends to get a bit oily when using a sunscreen, I had to use powder as well. Those with dry skin should also use powder in the summer when using this sunscreen. I didn't really feel it pilling when applying it before makeup, so I sometimes use it before putting on my makeup. I'll probably use it on my body when going to water parks, valleys, or the beach in the summer! But I also feel a bit hesitant to use it on my body since it seems a bit expensive...
