It feels light and airy on the skin, without any greasy residue. You barely notice it's there! I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or what, but the area around my mouth up to my philtrum swelled up terribly. As soon as I applied it, I felt a stinging and itching sensation, especially around my lips. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2024
As soon as I apply it, my face feels soft and powdery. That's all there is to it. I have super sensitive skin, and about an hour after applying, my face became unbearably itchy. I thought it might just be in my head, so I reapplied later and continued using it. When I got home and did my cleansing and skincare routine, my whole face had broken out. My skin turned really red, and after searching online, it seems like I might have developed contact dermatitis. I only used it for one day, but I don't think I'll ever use it again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 31, 2024
It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling dry and light. The application is smooth, and you hardly notice it's there. It's also convenient to carry around! When applied to my neck and arms, it caused itching after a while, and I experienced what seemed to be an allergic reaction with some bumps appearing. I guess there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 17, 2024
I work outdoors, so I apply this frequently. I love how it's matte and not greasy. Even when reapplying, it doesn't pill, and despite my active job that makes me sweat a lot, it doesn't easily come off. The itching is unbearable. It's so bad that I can't use it at all. I had to stop using it midway through. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2024
I bought this for those summer days when applying sunscreen feels icky. I wanted something I could just swipe on quickly and easily. After testing various options at Olive Young, I chose this one because it felt the most matte and lightweight. Sometimes when my skin isn't in the best condition and I apply this, it can cause blemishes. Also, it occasionally makes my face itchy... I think I'll stop using it on my face and just apply it to my neck from now on. It's so matte and applies so thinly that there are times when I wonder if I've even applied anything at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2024
You can snag this at a discounted price during sales. It's designed with AHC's signature style, making application a breeze. The slight white cast when applying isn't a deal-breaker, but it stings my eyes after application. It also leaves my skin feeling suffocated, as if it's coated with something. Even when I applied it on my arms to avoid the eye irritation, I still felt that uncomfortable coating sensation. Washing it off is a challenge too. Using body wash doesn't seem to do the trick completely. The residue left behind is incredibly itchy, so I had to meticulously massage it off with cleansing oil and then follow up with a cleansing foam. Also, it's worth noting that AHC's sun stick has been revamped, but the quantity has significantly decreased. Make sure to test if it suits your skin type before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 20, 2023
I bought the 22g 1+1 deal at Cos*co for around 26,000 won and I'm currently using it. I don't usually wear makeup, just applying toner and moisturizer followed by this sunstick. It goes on incredibly light, and while you might feel like you've applied something at first, it settles nicely after a while. It's so convenient to use that it's easy to make it part of your daily routine. I apply it in the morning before going out and reapply around lunchtime. I have dry skin, so I only use a cleansing foam at night and rinse with water in the morning, plus an oil cleanse once a week. I haven't experienced any increase in blemishes or irritation. I'd recommend a different product for those with dry skin. I have extremely dry skin and even though I apply a thick layer of moisturizer every morning, I still felt some dryness and itching when applying this sunstick. Even when I slathered on cream both at night and in the morning, the itching went away but the dryness remained... I'll keep using it since I don't want to waste it, but it's not ideal. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 9, 2023
I loved how it reduced oiliness, making my skin less like blotting paper! It's lightweight and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple when applied. If you layer it on too much, like 2 or 3 times, it might make oily areas of your skin feel itchy. It's best to apply it in moderation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2022
I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery, and it absorbs quite nicely too. The downside is that I go through it too quickly, and it tends to clog my pores, causing itchiness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 7, 2022
- It feels like you're wearing nothing at all! The texture is incredibly light and powdery, making it seem like you haven't applied anything. I tried a sunstick when they first came out, but it was too sticky. This one, however, has a wonderfully matte finish. - The sunstick format makes application a breeze! No need to get your hands messy, and when you're in a rush, you can just swipe it across your face. It's so convenient! - Sometimes it's hard to tell if you've applied enough, so I end up reapplying multiple times. This can lead to irritation later, and when I scratch my face, the product comes off under my nails.
