It applies as a slightly pinkish brown shade.
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder fallout, and it breaks incredibly easily! The corners crumbled even though I didn't drop it.

I'd recommend it especially for those with fair skin tones. It has a lovely apricot hue that really enhances your complexion. But don't worry if you have a darker skin tone - just apply a light layer of ginger powder as a base, and it'll look absolutely stunning! To describe the color more, it's similar to a Y17 shade in foundation. It has stronger yellow undertones than pink, so it's great for warm-toned skin. But honestly, I think this product is quite versatile. It seems like it could work well regardless of your skin tone, so I have a feeling it would suit cool-toned skin beautifully too!
ConsLike most eyeshadows, this product is prone to crumbling.
TipIt's perfect as a base when you want to do a bold eye look. And when you're going for a more natural look, it's great for covering up any foundation that's settled into your eyelid crease.

The color selection is spot-on. It's like a skin-tone shadow with a warm undertone that's just perfect. For my complexion (around shade 22-23), it's an ideal base. If you have warm or neutral undertones in the 17-21 range, this would make a fantastic natural contour shadow! The versatility is amazing - it blends well with any eyeshadow. It's especially unbeatable as a base for brown makeup looks. I just apply this, add my favorite brown shadow, and my daily look is complete! It truly complements any makeup style, so give it a try! One of Mono Eyes' best features is its incredibly fine texture. It's so satisfying to touch! I keep it on my desk while studying, and I find myself reaching for it just to feel its smoothness. It might sound odd, but it's oddly comforting! The fine texture also allows for beautiful, seamless gradients. The price is fantastic too! Unlike other brands that charge more for shimmery shades, all Mono Eyes shadows are the same price, regardless of finish. Stock up during Aritaum's buy-one-get-one-free deals - it's truly worth more than its price tag!
ConsThe fine texture might make it a bit fragile. I accidentally dropped mine at home, and my Ginger Powder shade turned to dust. Strangely, out of my 7 Mono Eyes shadows, this is the only one that broke. Maybe because it was the first one I bought? The case feels a bit flimsy and opens too easily. While it's better than some overly stiff cases, once it's been opened... well, you know what happens. I had to get a new makeup pouch. The fine powder can be tricky to work with. It's okay when applied with fingers, but with a brush, it turns into a powder dispenser. That's why I recommend applying all Mono Eyes products with your fingers.
TipFor those with warm undertones in the 22-23 shade range, use this as a base - it's fantastic! If you're in the 17-21 range with warm undertones, it could work as a subtle contour shadow. It's especially good for those closer to shade 15 for contouring. For cool-toned folks, I'd recommend the Mono Eyes Soft Knit instead. It's a milky peachy-pink that works well as a base for all undertones. Ginger Powder might appear slightly yellow on cool skin tones.

The particles are incredibly fine and the color isn't too intense, making it feel like a shadow base specifically designed for Aritaum. Once you start using it, you'll find your makeup feels incomplete without it.
ConsWhile the particles are very fine and smooth, there's a tiny bit of excess powder when applying, and it's quite fragile. Mine broke, so I had to repurchase it.
TipPerfect for when you're starting a new job!

I love that it doesn't have any glitter, so it's not too flashy. It's just right!
ConsThere was a bit of excess powder fallout, and it seems to break more easily compared to other eyeshadows.
TipIf you apply it naturally, connecting the eyelid and under-eye area, it makes your eyes look bigger.

When you apply just this ginger shade, it blends seamlessly with any eyeshadow. The fine particles and smooth application make it glide on effortlessly.
ConsThere was some excess powder fallout, and then it ended up breaking. There wasn't even any impact... I wonder if the fine particles weren't pressed tightly enough. It cracked around the edges... so disappointing.

ConsUnfortunately, there's excess powder that flies around, and it breaks easily, which is disappointing.

I felt overwhelmed by eyeshadow palettes, struggled with color combinations, and only vaguely knew my personal color. I spent about a month and a half studying suitable shades and shadow types for me, as I had no idea about application techniques or tools. I finally narrowed it down to a few Mono Eyes and Etude House shadows, choosing safe options with a low chance of failure. This product is one of those famous items. When swatched on my hand in-store, it looked like a simple skin tone, but on my eyes, it had a slight pink tint and beige feel. It didn't appear yellow or brown on me. Among drugstore shadows, it's known as an affordable version of the high-end Ginger shade, and the color is indeed pretty. It's suitable for warm-toned base makeup year-round, making it a staple in my routine. For my light makeup days, I just apply this and mascara, and I'm done. The price is reasonable, and you can get it even cheaper during sales periods.
ConsThey say it's been reformulated for better pigmentation and less excess, but even when swatched with fingers, it still has quite a bit of fallout. Besides that, there aren't any notable drawbacks, but people say it breaks easily, so it seems I'll need to handle it carefully. Maybe I should only use it at home...
