I used to avoid Chanel cushions despite their pretty cases due to poor value and ingredients. But when I heard the Chanel Le Teint foundation I loved was now available as a cushion, I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, while I used the lightest shade BD01 in Ultra Le Teint, the cushion seems to have a similar color but an upgraded formula. Amazingly, it feels moisturizing and dewy when applied, but over time it adheres perfectly and sets to a soft finish. At first, I thought the color matched my complexion too closely, but upon closer inspection, it actually brightens my skin tone slightly. Even in hot weather with sweat under my mask, my skin looks flawless without any patchiness or lifting. Above all, I'm thrilled that it's free of stearic acid and has fewer harmful ingredients.
The major drawbacks are the price over $80, the noticeably small amount of just 9g, and the fact that it's a single product without refills. It doesn't seem to have SPF, so sunscreen is a must. I also wish they offered even lighter shades!
