Mud pack & Cleansing = 2IN1 Wonder! Here's my honest review: The user experience was fascinating! The appearance and texture felt just like a mud pack. Throughout the cleansing process, it was gentle and my skin felt comfortable. There was no irritation at all. I'd never heard of 'micro-acidic' before. Usually, I use mildly acidic foams which don't lather much. This micro-acidic cleanser seemed to produce even less foam. If this bothers you, using a foam net would probably give you plenty of lather for cleansing. It's not that it doesn't foam at all! I think the micro-acidic formula is why it felt so gentle and comfortable on my skin. While it didn't completely remove heavy makeup, it cleaned off basic skincare and light makeup perfectly. However, when removing a full face of makeup, I did feel a slight dryness as I cleansed more thoroughly. (I have combination dehydrated skin) It wasn't severe though, so I'd still consider it quite moisturizing. What I love most about this foam cleanser is its high effectiveness in improving pores! Once you're over 30, the pores around your T-zone and between your brows start to enlarge, which can be really stressful. Since enlarged pores can't be reversed, it's crucial to prevent further enlargement. The fact that you can manage this just by cleansing is amazing! This foam cleanser is definitely worth using consistently! Also, with its 84% antibacterial effect, it would be great for acne-prone skin too.
Because it's micro-acidic, it doesn't lather well, so you end up using more product compared to regular foam cleansers. This means you might go through it faster. Oh, the struggle for that perfect lather...
I think the key is to use it consistently. And for those like me who feel they haven't really cleansed without a good lather, I highly recommend using a foam net.
