First off, I love that it comes in individual packets, making it super convenient to use without any need for measuring. When I opened it, the scent was amazing - a genuine mud fragrance. I created a rich lather under high water pressure and soaked in. I could really feel the moisturizing effect on my skin. After rinsing off and getting out, my skin felt noticeably less dry than usual! The bubbles lasted impressively long without dissipating quickly. The best part was how hydrated my skin felt! Also, sometimes when I wash my hair with bath water (of course, I rinse with clean water at the end), some bath products can leave it feeling stiff. This one didn't, which was great! --- I've updated my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars! The second time I used it, I increased the water pressure and really agitated the water with my hands. The result was luxuriously rich bubbles! The long-lasting, abundant foam made my second experience completely satisfying!
ConsWhile the individual packaging is convenient, it does create quite a bit of waste. The box has perforations, but there's really no need to tear it apart to use the product. Compared to other bath powders I've tried, the lather isn't particularly rich. It does last a while, but in terms of abundant bubbles, it left much to be desired. You can see in the third photo, taken right after filling the tub, the bubbles are quite sparse. I soaked for nearly an hour (with very hot water, mind you), and when I drained the tub, I noticed undissolved powder still settled at the bottom! It left me feeling a bit uneasy. Considering the price, I can't say I'm overly impressed.
TipFor best results with bath powders, use hot water and high pressure to create a good lather. Since this product tends to settle at the bottom, make sure to mix it well with your hands periodically!
