I was pleased that using just this shampoo didn't leave my hair stiff or frizzy. While washing, there's a subtle citrusy bergamot scent that's not overpowering, making it suitable even for those who dislike strong fragrances. However, the scent doesn't linger for long after washing.
ConsI'm a shampoo nomad. For a while now, I've been experiencing scalp itchiness when washing and rinsing my hair, which disappears after drying. I haven't found the right shampoo for me yet. When I won the Teatad shampoo, I had slight hopes, but unfortunately, my scalp still itched while rinsing. On the bright side, it didn't cause any blemishes on my scalp. Despite being marketed as a deep cleansing shampoo, I didn't notice any significant difference in scalp cleanliness compared to other shampoos. My scalp became oily again just as quickly as with my previous shampoo, typically within a day.
TipThe lather isn't particularly rich, so it's best to do an initial wash, then pump out more product for a second wash to get a much better lather.

The scent is absolutely divine! The fresh citrus aroma is incredibly pleasant, with a comforting bergamot fragrance that's known to relieve stress and calm the mind. Even my husband, who tested it with me, couldn't stop praising the scent. 2. It effectively eliminates scalp odor. According to tests, it scored 100% satisfaction in fragrance longevity, lingering scent, and improvement of unpleasant hair odor. I completely agree with these results! 3. Teetard Shampoo is a vegan scalp shampoo, which adds to its credibility and trustworthiness. Vegan products are all the rage these days! 4. It's certified vegan by the UK Vegan Society, using no animal-derived ingredients whatsoever. 5. This shampoo is great for managing scalp flakes. It contains citric acid, an AHA ingredient that gently dissolves dead skin cells without irritation. 6. It also tackles dandruff issues. The shampoo includes zinc pyrithione, a proven anti-dandruff agent. My husband, who has a sensitive scalp prone to flaking and dandruff, was very satisfied after using it for about 5 washes. It's now become his go-to shampoo! 7. As the product name suggests, it contains bergamot extract, which helps remove excess sebum that can clog scalp pores. It's excellent at eliminating oil and impurities. 8. Clinical studies have shown impressive results: 18% improvement in scalp flaking, 35% reduction in scalp oil and sebum, 100% satisfaction in hair oil improvement, 71% improvement in dandruff, and 59% reduction in scalp itching. These results really boost my confidence in the product! 9. It contains 97% EWG green-grade ingredients, making it suitable for sensitive scalps. 10. The shampoo has passed skin irritation tests and is free from 16 concerning ingredients including sulfates, silicones, parabens, and artificial colorants. 11. The scalp absorbs ingredients 3.5 times more efficiently during a hot shower when pores are open. That's why it's crucial to use a shampoo with good ingredients, and this one certainly fits the bill! 12. What's truly praiseworthy is that this is a functional cosmetic product approved by the KFDA. It contains biotin, dexpanthenol, zinc pyrithione solution, and niacinamide - key ingredients in anti-hair loss shampoos. Unlike typical anti-hair loss shampoos that can leave hair feeling stiff, this one leaves my hair soft and flowing. 13. As someone with long hair, I noticed significantly less hair fall while using this shampoo. 14. It requires fewer rinses compared to other shampoos, which is a plus. I'd love to gift this to friends who are serious about scalp health or fragrance enthusiasts. Highly recommended!
ConsAreas for improvement: 1. There was a slight issue with static electricity. While it was 50% less than my previous shampoo, it was still noticeable. 2. The lather is minimal, which led me to use more product than usual. I needed 3-5 pumps to get a satisfactory lather, compared to just 2 with my previous shampoo. This might mean the product gets used up faster. The 400ml size is also a bit small - I'd prefer if it matched the standard 500ml of other brands. If I purchase again, I'd opt for the larger size. 3. The price point is a bit high, which might deter some consumers from trying it. It's not yet available on Hwahae (a popular beauty app in Korea). I hope they list it there soon at a competitive price to boost sales. I've included a price comparison in the photo section for reference.
TipPro tip: Try using a different shampoo for your first wash, then use this as your main shampoo for the second wash. You'll notice a significant improvement in your scalp health!

In winter, my scalp gets dry and certain areas are prone to dead skin cells. Key Features: - Natural, colorless tangerine scent The fragrance is amazing! I usually dislike artificial citrus scents, but this shampoo has a completely natural tangerine aroma. Its most distinctive feature seems to be the sweet tangerine scent with a hint of fresh, grassy notes. The product is colorless. - Gentle on hair A main reason people avoid anti-hair loss shampoos is the stiffness after rinsing, but this product leaves hair much less stiff! While it's not completely free of stiffness, it's easily manageable with conditioner or treatment. - Vegan certified Certified by the UK Vegan Society. I appreciate the thoughtfulness in excluding all animal-derived ingredients, showing consideration for both the environment and animals. Advantages: 1. Pleasant fragrance As mentioned, the shampoo's scent is excellent. I usually avoid products with citrus fragrances, but I felt no aversion to this one. 2. Noticeable improvement in dead skin cells Citric acid and zinc pyrithione are said to be effective in improving flakes and dandruff. After about two weeks of use, I definitely noticed results. I tend to get flaky skin near my right forehead, and while using this shampoo, it seemed to occur much less frequently.
ConsDisadvantages: 1. Doesn't lather well Like other anti-hair loss shampoos, it doesn't produce much foam. The website claims one pump is sufficient for washing, but due to the lack of lather, I found one pump inadequate. I have shoulder-length hair that hairdressers often comment is thick, and three pumps were just right for me. 2. Hair loss reduction? After about two weeks of use, I'm not sure if I'm losing less hair. Rather than expecting immediate hair loss improvement, it might be better to use this 2-3 times a week as a preventive measure.

No dead skin cells, but my scalp gets oily quickly. * Due to inflammation, I used this alongside a medicated shampoo for testing. Shampoo Texture: Surprisingly thin with a completely clear color. I was startled when it gushed out while using it in a random bottle for travel. It's not entirely runny, but has a unique consistency - kind of elastic? Shampoo Fragrance: Citrusy with an orange-like scent. A hint of apple. And a cool minty-herbal aroma. I liked it. The scent isn't overpowering, so even those picky about fragrances should be okay with it. [Cleansing Effectiveness] High My hair is usually so oily that it doesn't reach the scalp and roots. I tried using this as a pre-wash before my medicated shampoo. Surprisingly, after just lightly shampooing, leaving it for 2 minutes, and rinsing, the scalp buildup was gone! Excellent results. [Hair Hydration] Above Average It feels similar to other popular shampoos. After rinsing, my hair feels smooth and detangled. However, since I had to use medicated shampoo after for my inflammation, which made my hair stiff again, I can't comment on the final dried hair condition. [Blemish Improvement] Above Average I'm rating this above average considering I used it with medicated shampoo. I was initially worried about the caffeine content, but after using both for over a week, the scalp calming effect was surprisingly faster than using medicated shampoo alone. Once reduced, the inflammation didn't flare up severely again. [Hair Volume] High A downside of medicated shampoos is they can make hair stiff and the scalp extremely dry, resulting in lifeless, straw-like hair. However, using this alongside it definitely boosted my root volume, making my hair look healthier!
ConsThe formula flows easily. When traveling, it's essential to transfer it to a squeeze bottle. I accidentally used up 3 days' worth of shampoo in one go!
TipHere's a pro tip for those who struggle with properly wetting their scalp or distributing shampoo: Mix your usual amount of shampoo with water in a 1:3 ratio in a pointed bottle or any empty container. Tilt your head slightly back and pour the diluted shampoo along your hairline. This ensures even distribution of shampoo to the back of your head where hair is thickest, and makes lathering much easier. This is actually how they do it in hair salons!

Texture and Feel I didn't need to use a separate conditioner or treatment with this shampoo! Even without those, my hair became incredibly soft, which I loved! I think it would be great for people with dry scalps! 2. Scent To me, it had a slight lime fragrance! It felt like a perfect scent for summer use! I think it's a scent that most people would find agreeable!
ConsI did have a few minor concerns even with the aspects I liked. 1. After-effects While I didn't need a separate conditioner or treatment, my hair became extremely oily! When rinsing my hair, it felt like it wasn't completely clean. If I slept after washing, my hair would be oily again the next day, which was quite disappointing. 2. Scent Longevity The fragrance was nice while washing, but it didn't linger in my hair afterwards. I wish the scent had been a bit stronger and longer-lasting!

I already love bergamot, but with a hint of lemon mixed in, it's not heavy or overwhelming - it just lifts my mood. However, my younger brother thinks the scent is a bit feminine, so he's not keen on using it often. I have an extremely oily scalp, so I had high hopes for its cleansing effectiveness. It feels slightly cleaner than regular shampoo, but I didn't notice a dramatic difference. As it's a scalp shampoo, I expected it to be drying, but I was pleasantly surprised that it left my hair feeling somewhat hydrated - enough that I could skip conditioner.
ConsIt doesn't lather up much, so you need to use more product, which means it runs out faster than expected. However, using it liberally feels a bit extravagant given the price!

[Review after 12 days of use] Fragrance: It's my first time experiencing bergamot scent. It has a subtle herbal, citrusy aroma that I really like. Lather: When I thoroughly wet my hair and scalp before shampooing, it lathers up quite well. Texture: It has a thin, fluid consistency. There were no major issues with splashing or discomfort when pumping it out. Blemishes: I didn't experience any itching or scalp problems while using it. Hair texture: Unlike other anti-hair loss shampoos that can leave hair feeling stiff, this one made my hair feel soft, which I appreciated. Even without using conditioner or treatment, it reduces frizziness.
ConsPrice: The regular price without discounts seems a bit steep. Cleansing effectiveness: I didn't notice a significant difference in terms of deep scalp cleansing. It feels similar to other shampoos that emphasize scalp cleansing. Ingredients: While I like that it's a vegan-certified product, it's disappointing that it contains fragrance as a cautionary ingredient and a few potential allergens.
TipI noticed some reviews mentioned issues with lathering. I recommend trying a pre-wash technique! Thoroughly wet your scalp and hair evenly, then apply a small amount of shampoo and gently massage it into your scalp. Rinse lightly with water, then apply the regular amount of shampoo, lather it in your hands, and massage it into your scalp. This method produces great lather!

First off, this shampoo has a lovely scent. It's a citrusy aroma, somewhat like lime, though I detected a slight hint of mosquito repellent at the end? But don't worry, that final note is so faint it's barely noticeable. What's more, my hair feels softer compared to when I use other shampoos. I typically use conditioner rather than treatment, which usually means I have to use hair oil as well. However, this time I didn't need to use any hair oil at all. With other shampoos, my hair tends to get stiff, tangled, and difficult to brush. But with this one, my hair stays soft, easy to brush, and tangle-free. Now for the most crucial part - does it keep my scalp from itching? Surprisingly, it did a pretty good job at keeping my scalp itch-free. While my scalp felt great on the day I washed my hair, I did notice some itchiness starting the next morning after sleeping. It's a bit disappointing, but overall, I'm satisfied with its performance.
ConsThe main drawback is the small volume. It's less than 500ml, which is a shame. I wish they'd offer a 1-liter option. Apart from this, I couldn't really find any other significant downsides.

After pumping, the fragrance was truly to my liking. It's a non-irritating citrus scent that lifts your mood - I absolutely loved it. Cleansing effectiveness: While it doesn't lather as much as expected, it feels like it's gently deep-cleaning. It's great for thoroughly massaging the scalp while shampooing. Moisturizing finish: As I have color-treated hair, I usually need a treatment after shampooing. However, with this shampoo, there was no stiff feeling, which I appreciated. After using both the shampoo and treatment, my hair felt much softer. Gentle ingredients: After using the product, I didn't experience any particular blemishes or irritation on my scalp.
ConsI didn't find any particular drawbacks while using this product.

I thought it would make a nice decorative addition to my shower. I also appreciated that the pump was delivered separately in its own bag. When I first pumped it into my hand, I noticed the texture was slightly runny, but not so watery that it would drip. This made it easy to use. When I lathered it on my hair, it produced a satisfying amount of foam. The scent became more noticeable as I worked up the lather, and I really enjoyed the fresh citrus fragrance. While I'm generally a fan of citrus scents, this one wasn't like the common detergent or air freshener type. Instead, it was a refreshing aroma that put me in a good mood. After finishing my shampoo routine, the first thing I noticed was how refreshed my scalp felt. While it didn't have the intense cooling effect of a summer shampoo, it definitely left my scalp feeling cleaner than other shampoos I've used. This refreshed feeling seemed to last for about half a day. As I went about my day, I noticed that my scalp (which is normally balanced) didn't feel particularly oily or dry - just comfortably fresh. To really test the shampoo's performance, I used it without any conditioner or treatments. Even after drying my hair, I was pleased to find that it felt soft and manageable, without any tangles or stiffness.
ConsThe only downside is that the quantity seems a bit small for the price. It might be best to purchase this during a sale.
