As a makeup fixer, it significantly improves the longevity of your makeup. However, it might leave your skin feeling slightly dry and tight. The spray often comes out in clumps rather than a fine mist. Even after cleaning the nozzle, it still tends to dispense unevenly. - rk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It definitely helps makeup stay put and reduces oil buildup around the nose. It seems to excel at its job as a setting spray. After some time, it can feel a bit tight on the skin. Depending on your makeup application, it might cause slight pilling. For daily use, try spraying once after skincare and again on your makeup puff before applying base makeup. It's not heavy and offers decent longevity. - 5g********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
The first photo was taken right after applying makeup, and the second one was taken in the evening when I got home. I didn't touch up my makeup or apply any powder while I was out (the darker appearance is mostly due to lighting, unfortunately). To be honest, I initially wanted to buy the Urban Decay setting spray, but it was too expensive and I heard it smells like saliva. So I got this one instead. Although I haven't tried the Urban Decay one, I think this is pretty good! I have oily skin, so my eye makeup used to wear off quickly, but wow, this works well! By evening, there's hardly any panda eyes! It's really great. Oh, and the spray nozzle is so-so. You need to press it firmly for an even mist, as a light press results in an uneven spray. When pressed firmly, it distributes evenly. Nothing particularly bad? The price is reasonable, and I've been using it for months with still half left (though I haven't been wearing makeup as often lately). The scent is almost undetectable, but for some reason, it reminds me slightly of glue stick. Instead of just spraying it after finishing your makeup, try this: spray once after applying sunscreen, once after base makeup, and once after color makeup. It works amazingly well and definitely reduces makeup separation! For those who struggle with makeup not setting well, I recommend spraying some on your makeup puff too before applying. It really helps! - pe******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 31, 2025
Usually, my makeup starts to fade around lunchtime, especially around my nose and T-zone as oil builds up. But with this product, about 80% of my makeup stays intact! The fixing power is definitely impressive! However, it does make my face feel a bit tight. I tried applying it three times - after skincare, after base makeup, and at the end - and it felt like my face was coated. There's a slight tightness when I move my face. Also, when spraying, the particles are quite large, so if you spray directly from the bottle, it can create small clumps on your face. 1. I'd recommend using the three-step application only for special occasions. For daily use, just spray once at the end for decent performance without discomfort. 2. Invest a little more and transfer the product to a Daiso fine mist cosmetic spray bottle for better application! - a0*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJan 30, 2025
1. Excellent staying power! The fixer performs its function well. By spraying it between base layers and at the end of makeup application, it definitely improves the longevity of your makeup! Sometimes when spraying on your face, you might notice it gets on your nearby phone too. Seeing how it doesn't easily wipe off and keeps its sprayed shape... I realized just how good the staying power really is. 2. Generous amount & convenient size Even after using it for over a year, there's still plenty left, showing you can use it generously. Plus, despite the ample amount, it's the perfect size for traveling!!! I love it so much. Fixers are especially necessary when you're out and about, and overly large products can be inconvenient. It's really great for travel use too~ 1. Room for improvement in spray distribution Perhaps because it's not in a gas form, it doesn't always feel like it sprays evenly and finely.. It was fine initially, but after long-term use, there are times when it suddenly sprays out in a burst. Generally, it's okay.. However, if even distribution is important to you, you might want to look for a fixer in spray form. Rather than just applying the fixer at the end, spraying it before and after your base, and after makeup application in stages will improve its staying power even more! - vh********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 24, 2025
Found a surprisingly good product among drugstore makeup setters...! After always using Urban D**, Bene**, and He* setters, I've been trying various drugstore options since last fall, and this one seems pretty good. While different setters excel at different things, this product is amazing at controlling oil. It'll be perfect for summer. Although the ingredients list isn't ideal, I didn't experience any itching (unlike with the Urban product) or irritation, so I used it quite comfortably! Most importantly, the scent is pleasant! While it controls oil well, that doesn't mean your makeup stays put perfectly. However, when I used this setter with Double Wear, my makeup lasted a solid 12 hours (I only touched up after about 15 hours). There's a bit of a learning curve with the application. I actually liked that it wasn't a fine mist, but I guess that's a matter of personal preference. If you spray from a distance, it won't mess up your makeup and works well. As of now, I'm inclined to repurchase. - gu**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 18, 2024
Powerful and long-lasting fixation. Perfect for those with oily skin, it really locks everything in place. The pearlescent particles inside make it look beautiful even before use. When I use this, I hardly need any touch-ups. The fixing power might be too strong. After spraying, my skin feels dry. When I smile, I can feel my skin tightening. Do not use this like a regular mist. While it often eliminates the need for touch-ups, if you try to apply additional foundation right after spraying, it will cause pilling. - su********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 7, 2024
Skin type: Combination My main concern is usually pore and sebum issues. Due to my job, I have to wear a mask daily during work hours. The areas that come into contact with the mask have become quite sensitive, and I often experience blemishes! Product texture and feel: Honestly, I really like it. As a makeup fixer nomad who never really settles on one product, I'm always trying out highly recommended items. But with this fixer, I've actually emptied 3 bottles! It doesn't contain any unnecessary 'moisture-boosting extracts' or the like. The simple ingredient list seems to say, 'I'm here for makeup setting, and that's it.' And that's great! The only downside is that sometimes the spray comes out in spurts, so I transfer it to another bottle for use. - k7******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 16, 2024
The fragrance is lovely and the spray speed is great. It seems to have some setting effect. I'd definitely like to use it again! I bought this at a department store, but it stings my eyes when I spray it. Also, the staying power seems insufficient. It's difficult to spray for more than 30 seconds because of the tingling sensation. After applying makeup, wait for it to dry completely. Be careful to spray gently to avoid irritating your eyes. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 10, 2024
The spray power was great - a fine mist! It's more hydrating than I expected. As with most mists, it evaporates quickly. As expected, it doesn't last very long on the skin.
