The best thing was that it didn't have any ingredients that didn't agree with my skin, making it a safe and reliable choice. The most disappointing thing is that it's been discontinued. I really wish they would bring it back! - aa******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedNov 26, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and super sensitive skin. I'm using this along with a cica toner. The texture is light like an emulsion. It's lightweight but has a slight richness, so it works well on my dry cheeks. For my T-zone where I produce more oil, I use a different cream. It's great for blemishes on my cheeks and chin. Works hard! The amount is small but the price is high... Maybe using the original version would be better than the light one? I apply a thin layer in the direction of my skin texture, then gently pat on another thin layer on top. - ju******Oily SkinRednessRecommendedNov 5, 2024
I bought this for redness, but it's still early days so I'm not sure about the results yet The hydration seems a bit lacking, so I might need to apply additional moisturizer - an*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2024
For those with sensitive, dry skin looking for a lightweight cream for morning use, I think this one is unbeatable I'm so disappointed that it seems to have been discontinued... Will I ever find another cream with this perfect level of hydration, absorption, and finish? - mu******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 14, 2024
True to Physiogel's reputation, it has a gentle feel that even those with super sensitive skin can use. As a light cream, it has a lighter texture than other Physiogel products, making it highly recommended for combination skin types experiencing sensitivity and dryness. It's fragrance-free, so you can use it without worry. The tube packaging is great for maintaining hygiene. This cream absorbs quickly and feels light, without leaving a greasy or surface-level residue. It may not provide enough hydration for those with dry skin. For dry skin types, I recommend the regular cream instead of this light version. For extremely oily skin, it might feel a bit heavy during summer. In winter, you can apply it on its own, while in summer, mixing it with a much lighter gel-type emulsion provides just the right level of moisture. - ks*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 9, 2024
I tried a sample before and liked it, so I decided to buy the full size. With summer causing my sebaceous glands to go into overdrive, I was looking for something lightweight. This cream fits the bill perfectly. First off, the pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. The texture is incredibly light, and there's absolutely zero stickiness after application. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth. It's an excellent moisturizer for summer! If I had to mention one downside, it's that when you get to the bottom of the bottle, it's hard to get every last bit out just by pumping. You might need to cut it open to use it all up. - tj********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2024
I accidentally ordered the light cream instead of the AI cream I usually use. Since I already ordered it, I decided to give it a try. It's not a thick cream texture, but more of an emulsion. With summer approaching, I thought this might actually work out well, so I'm using it for now! Advantages: 1. Application -> Being the light version, it really applies like an emulsion. The application is great! I was looking for a soothing and hydrating cream/emulsion for the upcoming summer, and it's perfect that this is the light version of the Physiogel Red Soothing AI that I loved using in winter. 2. Not too lightweight. It's an emulsion with a decent amount of oil -> (For oily skin) Unlike some lightweight moisturizers that only provide hydration without any oil, which can actually lead to excess oil production overnight, this one doesn't make my skin overly greasy. It's actually nice because it doesn't make my skin look shiny. From the first use, I felt a slight itching sensation. When I checked the ingredients, I noticed it contains shea butter. I have oily skin and products with pore-clogging ingredients, oils, or acne-triggering components like shea butter usually don't work well for me. I'm planning to use small amounts and if I start breaking out, I'll switch to something else. Overall, it seems okay. I would recommend it for oily skin types who aren't concerned about pore-clogging ingredients. Update: After just 3 days of use, I developed small bumps on my cheeks and forehead, so I had to stop using it. If you have sensitive + oily skin and don't tolerate shea butter well, you might want to try something else! If you're planning to apply makeup afterwards, make sure to let it absorb fully! It feels slightly sticky right after application. - oh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2024
Compared to the Red Soothing AI Cream, this feels fresher and more hydrating. When you apply it, you can really sense the moisture. It absorbs quickly into my oily skin, where most creams tend to just sit on top. I'm not sure if it's because of the harsh winter, but even after applying two layers, my face becomes flushed with dryness within a couple of hours. I'm planning to keep it and try again in summer. I tried layering it under the Avène Tolérance Control Cream, which seemed okay at first, but ultimately my skin still ended up too dry and flushed, so I had to give up! - ys***********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2023
I have combination sensitive skin. I used Physiogel Red Soothing Emulsion well until spring, but when I tried to use it in summer, it felt a bit too rich. So I decided to buy the Light Cream. The Light Cream is less oily than the emulsion, but it's not too lightweight either. If you've enjoyed the Red Soothing Emulsion, you'll probably find this great to use after toner in summer. It has a nice scent and isn't heavy, making it good for balancing oil and moisture. The only downside is that the amount seems a bit small for the price. However, I'm so satisfied with the product that I'll likely purchase it again next summer. In summer, layering toner multiple times and then applying the Light Cream should be sufficient for skincare. I have combination dehydrated skin, and I found it worked well for me. However, as the seasons change to autumn and winter, it feels a bit dry, so I'm using a different product now. - wl*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 25, 2023
Physiogel, whether original or AI, always felt quite heavy on my skin, but this one is completely different! I wanted something lighter for summer and decided to try this after testing. It's perfect for combination to oily skin types! Those with dry skin might find it a bit too light though. It absorbs incredibly fast, making it great to use before makeup even in summer. It's my favorite Physiogel product so far. The texture isn't thick at all - you can see in the second photo how it forms wave-like patterns when spread with a finger. True to its name, it's light and super gentle on the skin. While it's not a downside for me, those with dry skin might want to consider carefully before purchasing.
