I was amazed when I woke up the morning after first using this product - my complexion looked so much brighter! It was my first Caudalie skincare item, and it completely changed my perception that French cosmetics don't suit me well. This product erased that notion! Usually, these days many products, including sunscreens, have anti-wrinkle and brightening certifications. However, many foreign products often don't get these certifications. Interestingly, this product has a subtle 'brightening functional' label, suggesting the importer went the extra mile to get domestic certification. They're really committed to the brightening game! Apparently, this product has been the #1 anti-dark spot treatment in France for 15 years. The clinical trials focused on dark spots too - after 8 weeks of use, dark spots were reduced by 63%! That must be why I noticed such a dramatic difference from the start. I don't use it too often to avoid building tolerance, but lately, with summer here and my dark circles seeming to deepen, I've been alternating it with my Decorté serum to nourish my skin. I have sensitive combination skin, and I didn't experience any blemishes. It's fascinating to see so many other users mentioning how their skin brightened too!

This serum costs $88 for 30ml and $120 for 50ml... Now that international travel is back, I'll have to buy it duty-free. The fragrance is like grapevine or slightly woody, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. For brightening, I think using just the serum without toner or cream seems sufficient.
