  Pros

  - After 3-4 days of use, I noticed a subtle improvement in my complexion (I'm usually slow to see effects). Rather than saying it whitens, it's more accurate to say it clarifies the skin. - While it does provide some hydration, it might not be enough for the changing seasons. It seems suitable for use through summer and fall in terms of moisture. - Personally, I didn't experience any calming effects. - The scent seems to be quite divisive. I find it pleasant, but my sister says she dislikes the lingering smell.

  The downside is that I wish it provided more hydration. If you feel your skin lacks moisture after using the essence, try layering with a hydrating ampoule.

  During spring, summer, and fall when the sun is strong, I only used it at night and avoided daytime application. I've heard that whitening products shouldn't be exposed to sunlight.

  Pros

  I'm particularly prone to blemishes from vitamin serums! But my complexion is on the darker side, so I still wanted to use one. That's why I decided to try the famous Caudalie serum. And guess what? This one doesn't cause any blemishes! That's why I loved it. The fresh scent also makes me reach for it frequently.

  Cons

  I was hoping for a clearer complexion, but honestly... I can't see any effects at all! I've used about half the bottle, so maybe I need to keep using it for longer?

  Tip

  I use it after applying toner, or sometimes right after a modeling mask! The hydrating, fresh scent is absolutely delightful.

  Pros

  Although I'm not a fan of fragranced products, ironically, this one smells amazing. It's such a mood-booster every time I apply it. The brightening effect is definitely noticeable. It absorbs well, and even though I have acne-prone skin, it doesn't cause any irritation. I highly recommend it!

  Cons

  It contains fragrance. But the scent is so lovely! If they made a Caudalie perfume, I'd be tempted to buy it.

  I received this as a gift with Sephora points a few years ago and fell in love with it. I bought two sets duty-free last year and now I'm carefully rationing the last bit I have left. The most remarkable effect of this product is how it brightens your complexion. It leaves your skin with a healthy glow. (I can definitely vouch for this!) It has a very fluid texture, like a thin serum or emulsion, with a slightly sweet woody scent. It softens the skin texture and seems to even exfoliate, removing dead skin cells. This product has been the undisputed number one brightening product in France for a long time (according to the duty-free shop assistant), and I've seen the results myself! Overall, it's an incredibly satisfying product that I'm really happy with. Because it's so fluid, it does get used up quickly. I've tried many products, but in terms of how it feels on the skin and overall satisfaction, this one scores 100 out of 100.

  The price is quite high, and because it's so fluid, it really does get used up quickly. It's definitely a product to stock up on at the duty-free shop! The effects are undeniable. One small frustration is that the dropper isn't very strong - it only draws up about half the length of the pipette, which can be a bit annoying.

  Turns out this is quite a famous product! I discovered it late, but I've really grown to love it as I've used it. The scent isn't exactly grape, more like... grape seed? Haha! It's not an artificial fragrance, more like the natural scent of the ingredients, which I appreciate as it's not irritating. The texture is water-like, though not too runny - about the consistency of a typical serum, so it's easy to use. Like all products, one bottle won't magically erase all blemishes, but with consistent use, you can definitely notice them fading. I also love how it leaves my skin hydrated and gives me that coveted Inner Glow!

  The bottle opening is quite large. I accidentally knocked it over while applying and spilled half the product - it was heartbreaking! Haha!
