The scent is a bit disappointing, but that's probably just personal preference. I'm not sure if it adds shine as claimed. My hair still feels dry and lifeless.

The absorption and texture are great. It doesn't weigh down or interfere with styling.

After getting a perm, apply it for a few weeks or at least on weekends before drying your hair, and then again after drying.

There weren't any real downsides... I just wish it was more well-known. Also, it might be nice to change to a different scent. Please don't discontinue this product.
