ConsIt doesn't seem to be particularly effective for removing dead skin cells or caring for blackheads, unfortunately.

My skin tends to break out immediately when using products with acids or allergens. (I've used 7 bottles of the SKIN1004 ampoule and 2 bottles of this toner.) 1. Packaging: The dispenser releases just the right amount of product, not too much at once. The transparent bottle lets you see how much you've used. (The packaging has been redesigned. The old cap was shallow, causing toner to collect around the bottle's rim and dry into white powder. The new deeper cap has solved this issue!) 2. Fragrance: It's unscented, great for those sensitive to fragrances. 3. Exfoliation: When I use this toner with a cotton pad and follow with other skincare, I immediately feel my skin texture becoming smoother. It even cleared up my closed comedones! Despite my sensitive skin, it wasn't irritating at all. They use PHA instead of potentially irritating AHA or BHA. PHA has larger molecules, making it less penetrative and gentler on the skin. Even right after cleansing, the cotton pad picked up a lot of debris. It's perfect as a cleansing toner! 4. Texture: Non-sticky and absorbs well! It contains betaine, which helps balance oil and moisture. 5. Gentle ingredients: It contains 84% Centella Asiatica extract, SKIN1004's famous ingredient, which soothes the skin. Using this toner and the SKIN1004 ampoule ended my acne struggles! It's a gentle, slightly acidic toner. Update: My skin tone has brightened, possibly because I'm wearing less makeup these days. This is the only product in my routine with whitening properties, and I'm seeing results!
ConsThere aren't any real downsides, but if I had to nitpick: 1. Blackheads: I didn't notice significant blackhead reduction, though it might require more consistent use. 2. Lack of oiliness: There's almost no oily feel, so you'll definitely need to follow up with moisturizing skincare. This seems unavoidable for a non-sticky toner. (Who only uses toner anyway? I highly recommend the SKIN1004 ampoule for adding moisture!)
TipHow I use it: After cleansing, I use this toner with a cotton pad to refine skin texture → SKIN1004 ampoule → moisturizer → Aromatica aloe gel + face oil. I've been using the SKIN1004 ampoule even before it was listed on Hwahae, so I'm glad it's getting recognition! If you have closed comedones, give it a try. Great news! It's now available at LOHB's, so you can test it there!
