I've tried other brands' products that cost over $10, but the dead skin cell removal was similar. Of course, this could vary from person to person. It's worth using for the price. You can get it even cheaper when it's on sale. The method involves wearing foot sheets and pouring the solution in directly. It's convenient because the neck part of the foot sheet is pre-opened, so you don't need to cut it separately. Some other brands' products require you to cut the neck part before use, which can be a bit of a hassle. The solution leaks out of the foot sheets. I've bought and used over 10 of these from various stores over about 3 years. Without exaggeration, it leaked almost every time. Out of 10 purchases, 9 would leak. I kept buying them out of stubbornness, thinking I might get lucky, but after this latest leak, I'm finally calling it quits. If you still insist on using this product, you can either cover the sheets with plastic bags before wearing them or be prepared to clean the floor after use. - rk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedDec 27, 2019
It doesn't come off immediately, but day by day, the dead skin cells gradually slough away. However, it doesn't seem to be particularly effective at removing dead skin cells. It's just okay for a few uses, I guess? - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 23, 2019
I use this every summer. I haven't tried anything else because I love this so much that I haven't even thought about using other products. It makes my feet so soft and smooth, perfect for wearing sandals! You can't expect all the dead skin cells to come off at once after using a foot peeling product, can you? It's a bit inconvenient to wait for several days while the skin peels off, but I still use it because it's necessary. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 9, 2018
I've tried three different foot peeling products: one from Tony Moly, another from Olive Young, and a 2,000 won option from Daiso. Surprisingly, The Face Shop's version doesn't peel as dramatically as expected. The one from Olive Young actually works better at removing dead skin cells! Paying full price for this product feels like a waste of money, as its effectiveness isn't particularly impressive. It might be worth considering during a sale period. The Tony Moly foot peel seems to be more effective at removing dead skin cells. When I have a chance to visit a public bathhouse, I find it time-efficient to apply this product after scrubbing, then exfoliate and shower. It's a great way to maximize your skincare routine while saving time. - ks*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsNov 19, 2018
If you can endure for just two weeks, your heels become so soft... It's amazing! While the effects don't last forever (it eventually goes back to normal), it's great that you can escape from rough feet for about a month. Unfortunately, this isn't good for those with sensitive skin. I'm not sure about foot skin specifically, but if you use it when your feet are cracked or have wounds in winter, it stings terribly! It's like torture. Also, the two weeks while the dead skin cells are peeling off is quite an ordeal. You'll be leaving a trail wherever you go, like Hansel and Gretel... - be******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsOct 18, 2017
It peels off nicely. After about 4 days, I noticed the dead skin cells coming off smoothly. The results were quite good. Nothing particularly bad, except that you have to leave it on for more than 4 days in a somewhat messy state. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 26, 2017
As someone with a job that requires standing, I inevitably get a lot of dead skin cells on my feet. I've been using this product once every summer. The best part is that you can get rid of all the dead skin at once without the hassle. No need to soak your feet and scrub off the dead skin manually... You just wear it, take it off, wash, wait, and the dead skin peels off on its own. It works exactly as described on the product label. The peeling process starts roughly every 7-10 days, sometimes as quickly as 5 days. It's best to use it right before summer starts when you can still wear socks, or when fall begins. If you use it too close to summer, the peeling skin can be messy, and even with socks on, fine particles of dead skin fly around. I had to wear thicker, tighter socks. The unsightly appearance is the biggest drawback, and it doesn't peel off as cleanly as you might expect. After use, your feet feel oddly swollen and dry, and they don't sweat. Your toenails might turn dark as if they're dead. The nail color does return after the peeling process is complete, but since it's a chemical treatment, I felt uneasy when my nails darkened, even though they did return to normal. You can find it on sale in cosmetic shops, usually in early summer, which can be inconvenient for purchasing. While it's nice to use once in a while due to its convenience, paying full price feels a bit wasteful. - kc*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 28, 2017
I snagged this at a great price during a sale! It gently and gradually removes dead skin cells from the feet... It doesn't completely transform your feet to baby-soft smoothness. The dead skin cells slowly return over time. - ps*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinNov 7, 2016
The only positive thing I can say is that it was available at my local Homeplus, so I could buy it even late at night... It's completely ineffective. When I used Olive Young's product before, it worked wonders, but this one... absolutely not recommended. - mi****Combination SkinAcne SkinSep 16, 2016
For those with severe foot calluses, after about 4-5 days, countless dead skin cells peel off the soles for several days. It's a bit messy during the peeling process, but the results are quite good. I used it about three times, once a month. There's a slight tingling sensation when you wrap your feet for about an hour. Because of this, you absolutely can't use it if you have any cuts or wounds on your feet. I bought it during a sale.
