Among the toners I've used (Manyo Factory Bifidalacto, Dr.G Soothing Toner, Torriden Hyaluronic Acid Toner), this one caused the most eye irritation (originally only Dr.G did, others didn't). It's not at the level of "Ouch! My eyes!" but rather "the most noticeable among the compared products," so I'm still using it without issues. I don't notice it much in the morning, but feel it more at night, which might be due to fatigue. However, if it were solely due to tiredness, I would have experienced this with other products at night too, but that's not the case. While other toners felt like pure water flowing smoothly, this toner is a bit more substantial - it's like a drop of starch, if that makes sense. When shaking the bottle, bubbles form and rise, feeling more similar to an ampoule or serum. Perhaps because of this, it absorbs more slowly than the other products I compared it to. If other toners feel like a quick "pat-pat-pat" on the skin, this one is more of a "slap-slap-slap" sensation. Overall, I feel this toner would be an unparalleled holy grail for my skin during transitional seasons rather than in summer like now.
Since every user has different aspects they find satisfying and different standards, I can't really call this a drawback. However, those who prefer extreme freshness or have very oily skin, or those who were completely satisfied with Torriden before, might find this toner slightly heavy. People with super oily skin who love ultra-light products, or those who were 100% happy with Torriden, might feel this toner is a bit heavier than what they're used to. It's not necessarily a negative point, just something to keep in mind depending on your skin type and preferences. The slightly richer texture could be perfect for some, while others might prefer something more watery.
A great tip is to use the SNature line, which I'd even recommend to my mom. The SNature line is so good that I want to recommend it to my mother as well. This speaks volumes about its quality and effectiveness. When a skincare product is gentle and effective enough that you'd feel comfortable recommending it to a family member, especially your mom, it's usually a sign that it's a reliable and well-formulated line. This line seems to strike a good balance between being effective and being gentle enough for various skin types and ages. It's always a positive sign when a skincare product works well for different generations, as it suggests it can address multiple skin concerns without being too harsh or irritating. Remember, though, that everyone's skin is unique, so what works wonderfully for you might not have the same effect on others, even family members. It's always a good idea to patch test and introduce new products gradually, especially for more mature skin that might be more sensitive.
