I've been using the Wellage Real Cica Calming 95 Cream for years now! My skin type is combination dehydrated with blemishes. For those with combination dehydrated skin, gel-type moisturizers often leave you feeling dry after a short while. This cream, however, replenishes hydration without feeling heavy, making it perfect for year-round use! I'm quite particular when choosing creams. I look for three key factors: 1. Suitable for combination dehydrated skin 2. Effective for blemish-prone skin 3. Fragrance-free This Wellage cream ticks all these boxes! The texture is a soft, lightweight cream. I'd say it's about 10% rich and 90% hydrating. With its cica ingredients, it's great for soothing and blemish-prone skin. Best of all, it's fragrance-free! As someone sensitive to scents, I really appreciate this aspect. I've repurchased this cream at least five times now. It's truly become my holy grail product!
I used to apply this cream morning and night, but when winter comes and my U-zone becomes dry, I don't find it quite as hydrating. During those times, I either add a serum or save it for summer use. Those with dry skin might not find it moisturizing enough.
When purchasing from Olive Young, there's often a promotional package that includes a sample ampule. Using them together really seemed to enhance the soothing effect. If you're using a matte cushion foundation, make sure to apply an additional serum underneath.
