It's not a cool pink, but rather a neutral, lukewarm pink - quite unexpected from Black Rouge! The texture is thick, like crushed lipstick made into a tint, but it still absorbs well. It truly feels like cream cheese on the lips. The case design is adorably pretty too.
ConsWhen applied with just the applicator, it tends to clump a bit, so you need to blend it out with a cotton swab or your finger. It feels slightly thick when applied. Due to its unique formula, some transfer is unavoidable.

As described, it has a thick cream cheese-like consistency, but when you gently spread a thin layer on your lips, it applies smoothly without clumping, leaving a velvety finish. The formula adheres well to the lips when applied, and it blends beautifully. It's easy to smudge with a brush or fingertip. Even without a brush, the pointed tip allows for a pretty application with a very light touch. This is definitely a cool-toned pink shade that every lip line seems to have. For cool-toned skin, it could work as a base, but worn alone, it's a true cool-girl color with hints of white and fluorescent pink that warm-toned individuals wouldn't even consider.
ConsThis lip product should never be applied thickly. The matte formula is meant to have a silky finish, but if applied too heavily, it can clump. Because it needs to be applied in a thin layer, you might feel some dryness and notice your lip's dead skin cells becoming more prominent as time passes. There's a subtle chocolate scent, which I personally enjoy, but surprisingly many people dislike it, so it could be polarizing. Although it comes in a tint container, this matte rouge is more of a thick liquid lipstick than a tint. It transfers less than regular lipsticks, but there is some transfer, so it wears off significantly after eating. Also, as it's not a staining product, you might be disappointed if you're expecting any lasting color.
