  Pros

  After using Physiogel cream for a long time, I decided to switch. I prefer products with gentle ingredients and mild fragrances, so I used it without issues. However, as my skin became more combination dehydrated, it stopped absorbing well and started to sit on top of my skin. The Face Republic Hydro Cream feels like it locks in and enhances the hydration from the toner and serum I applied in previous steps. The texture is rich but absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling fresh and matte! Even after half a day, my skin doesn't feel dry, and there's hardly any oil buildup in my T-zone. I also like the subtle citrusy scent, similar to yuzu, which doesn't feel artificial. (I'm quite sensitive to fragrances as I've only used unscented products before.)

  Cons

  This isn't your typical moisturizer with a bouncy texture that gives a dewy finish, which you can easily find in stores. It has a different consistency, so it's important to watch product videos or read texture descriptions to make sure it aligns with your preferences!
