  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin, and since last year, my skin has been acting up. I've been seeing both a traditional Korean medicine practitioner and a dermatologist. I'm on my second tube now. While a few weeks of use hasn't dramatically improved my skin, it hasn't caused any new blemishes either, so I keep using it.

  Cons

  For me, this cream doesn't provide an incredible amount of hydration.

  Pros

  After my skin was severely irritated by UV rays, I found this cream to be a game-changer. Just cleansing, applying toner, and using this cream alone helped calm my blemishes and reduce the burning sensation in just 2-3 days. Severe UV damage can compromise the skin barrier, but this product seemed to help repair it. Despite my dry and sensitive skin, it applied smoothly without any adverse reactions. I think I've found a perfect match for my skin type. I'll definitely reach for this when my skin acts up again.

  Cons

  The cream is a bit rich, so when used with other products, it might not absorb as well or could cause pilling. I'd recommend using only a small amount and taking the time to really work it into the skin for best results.

  Tip

  For severely irritated skin, I'd actually suggest starting with a soothing cream like Zeroid before moving on to this Intensive Cream once your skin starts to recover. Also, instead of layering multiple products like before, try simplifying your routine. Either use just toner and this Intensive Cream, or if you need more hydration, go with toner, serum, and then the Intensive Cream. This approach should help your skin recover faster.

  I purchased this from the Olive Young app after my skin reacted badly to a high-concentration niacinamide ampoule. At the time, my skin was inflamed, with parts looking as if they were burned - red and irritated. Even after applying soothing products, I had persistent blemishes that wouldn't calm down. My skin barrier seemed compromised, so I only applied a thin layer of Zeroid during my skincare routine. Amazingly, after just 3-4 days, my skin had fully recovered - I was overjoyed! The texture is a bit rich, so if you have oily skin, I'd recommend applying it sparingly or trying a soothing cream instead.

  Cons

  I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. After applying the Intensive, my T-zone felt a bit greasy. While I didn't develop any blemishes, it was slightly bothersome.

  Tip

  For those with oily skin, applying a thin layer can help reduce the rich feeling! If your skin barrier is damaged, I recommend cleansing with a gentle, non-irritating product, then applying only a thin layer of Zeroid before getting a good night's sleep.

  I've been using this for about 7-8 years now! I haven't found a cream that makes my skin feel as comfortable as this one! Whenever my skin gets irritated, I always apply this. It might feel a bit rich in summer, but you can adjust the amount you use!

  Cons

  It might feel a bit heavy in summer, but that's the only downside! Thanks to this and the Avène mist, my skin barrier has improved significantly.

  When my skin is sensitive and dry, especially during the seasonal changes from fall to spring, this cream is my go-to. It was recommended by my dermatologist. When my skin was irritated and parched, other products stung and caused further irritation, but this cream applied comfortably without any of those issues. After application, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and for a rich cream, it absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue. I love that it doesn't leave my skin looking overly shiny.

  While it's excellent for dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily complexions.

  Apply it all over your face and add a few extra layers around the eyes - you won't need a separate eye cream.

  This is truly my holy grail cream... It's perfect for my dry skin - not too rich, but fills my skin with just the right amount of hydration. It's so moisturizing and wonderful! Just a heads up for those with oily skin, you might find it a bit heavy. I bought this in a panic at Olive Young when my skin barrier was completely destroyed and my skin was freaking out, and I'm so satisfied! Above all, it's so gentle that it's really great to use even when my skin is super sensitive.

  I'm not sure if it's just my product, but the lid is a bit difficult to open. I just twist it off to use it though.

  Tip

  As someone with extremely dry skin, I love how my skin stays moisturized even after sleeping with this product on. Sometimes when I use products that are too light or don't retain moisture well, I wake up with skin that feels painfully dry and flaky. But with this, my skin stays hydrated until morning - it's amazing!

  It's truly gentle. I used it for an incredibly long time when my skin was at its most sensitive. Maybe because I have dry skin, I never felt it was greasy. When my skin acts up, I just use this one product alone.
