I have sensitive skin, but experienced no blemishes after use. - It absorbs quickly. - Not dry at all. Excellent hydration. - I like that the color resembles soy milk.
Cons- It applies quite thickly. I prefer a softer application, so that's a bit disappointing. - It's very rich. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I prefer products without excess oil. Even when I applied this after washing my face in the evening, it still felt oily before bed. - It feels heavy. I understand now why many reviews say it's not light, despite being called a 'light cream'. It feels a bit suffocating, like something's sitting on your skin, similar to old-fashioned sunscreens. - The finish isn't fresh or light.

The photo was taken an hour after applying the cream - focus on any flaking or patchiness! It's white and fragrance-free. The cream's texture is quite rich, so it's not suitable for summer use. For combination-dry skin, it would be perfect for fall and winter. Compared to Dr.G cream, it feels much thicker. I've uploaded photos for reference! If you have dry skin, you could apply a thin layer as the final step of your skincare routine even in summer. After application, it forms a protective layer on the skin over time. I'm using it in winter, and because of this film-like texture, my skin doesn't get dry. There's no feeling of tightness either. As someone with combination skin, I think it's ideal for winter use.
ConsThe price is a bit high. They provide a spatula, but I think it would be better if they just changed the packaging to a tube format. Even for dry skin types, the texture might be too rich during the height of summer.
TipI wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. For combination-dry skin, it's great to use year-round except during summer.

I was worried it might be too harsh, but I trusted the soothing ingredients that help repair the skin barrier. ⚠️To minimize irritation, I used only this cream after toner. ⭕Soothing effect Thankfully, it had a calming effect! After applying it before bed, my overall redness had noticeably reduced by the next morning. By the third day, even localized redness had visibly subsided. After a week of use, my skin condition was about 90% back to normal. I'm satisfied with the results, which exceeded my expectations. ⭕Oil and moisture balance For a summer cream labeled 'light', it's on the heavier side and might feel a bit rich. However, this richness seemed to prevent moisture loss, making my skin feel more comfortable. It's not overly hydrating, nor is it oily or sticky. Absorption is a bit slow, but it settles comfortably on the skin. The oil to moisture ratio felt about 2:8.
Cons✔The texture is slightly thick and heavy, so it lacks a fresh feel. It doesn't absorb quickly, which might make it feel heavy and uncomfortable. However, it's non-irritating, so the soothing effect is good! It's perfect for transitional seasons. ✔It's not in a tube, which makes it inconvenient for quick application. I don't prefer jar packaging because you need to manage a spatula.
Tip✔Since it's not a lightweight formula, you need to control the amount well when using it in summer. Applying too much could lead to more blemishes depending on your skin condition. ✔If you apply a thin layer and wait, you'll find it's absorbed before you know it.

Given the popularity of the Dokdo toner and cream, and my positive experience with the Dokdo emulsion's lightweight feel in the past, I had high expectations for this product. First, let me describe my skin type: I have oily skin with excess sebum and occasional blemishes. - Absorption: I expected a light cream, but it had a richer texture than anticipated. A small amount was sufficient for good coverage. For those with oily skin, there's a slight rich feel, so it's best to apply it in thin layers. - Hydration: It provides both moisture and oil, resulting in long-lasting hydration. The oil content isn't excessive, making it suitable for light application even in summer. - Ingredients: It doesn't contain shea butter, which oily skin types should avoid. As expected, the Dokdo line's ingredients are trustworthy.
ConsI was slightly disappointed that the texture was richer than expected for a 'light cream' - I anticipated a more water-based, lightweight formula!
TipApplying too much at once may lead to blemishes due to its rich texture, so it's best to apply a thin layer. For those with dry skin, multiple thin layers could work well!

I used only the toner, centella serum, and Dokdo Light Cream morning and night for about a week. My skin type: Extremely sensitive and dry. Since last year, possibly due to mask-wearing, I've been experiencing periodic acne-like blemishes all over my face. In short, it's a total mess! I was still searching for the right cream for my current condition, so I tried this with hope. Texture and application: For me, it wasn't great. The texture felt a bit heavy for summer. When applied, it doesn't absorb immediately, leaving a film on the skin. It's like when you apply too much sunscreen and it leaves a white cast. It does eventually absorb if left alone, but not right away. (I tried using less, but the result was the same.) Currently, I have many blemishes, so it stung a bit when applied to these areas, but that's due to my skin condition... For those without skin issues, it might feel gentle. (When I applied it on my back, it felt very smooth and gentle.) Formula: Although it's called 'Light', I found it quite rich for my taste. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin or those with many blemishes. Even though I have dry skin, my current sensitivity and skin troubles are more severe, and this cream felt a bit heavy in this state. It might be better for spring/fall rather than summer. Using it during this heatwave felt uncomfortable... Effects: Face - I hoped my blemishes would improve even a little... At first, it seemed to help, but then a couple of days ago (maybe because I accidentally applied more than usual), my blemishes started to reappear... So I'm not sure if there was any significant change. Back - I had some recent blemishes on my upper back, so I applied the Dokdo Light Cream there morning and night. It cleared up over 90% of the blemishes on my back! Overall: Since it didn't have much effect on my facial blemishes, I probably won't repurchase... I'd recommend it for those with dry skin, for spring/fall use.
ConsAlthough it's marketed as a light cream, it still felt rich to me. Applying it in summer felt heavy and hot.
TipApply small amounts multiple times. If you apply too much at once, it leaves a white cast like sunscreen.

Here are the key features of the product: 1. The texture isn't too thick, more like a light cream 2. It has quite a bit of richness 3. Fragrance-free (there's a very slight scent) and very gentle After using it, I could tell this product has exceptional hydrating power! Despite being labeled as 'light', it was quite rich - perfect for those with dry skin. The ingredients are also very gentle, so even those with super sensitive skin should be able to use it without issues. It worked well on my sensitive, acne-prone skin without any adverse reactions. After application, I felt like my skin texture was more refined.
ConsIt's too rich for oily skin types! It feels like it has more oil than moisture, which means it doesn't absorb immediately. It might feel a bit heavy for summer use. After applying toner and serum, this cream feels too heavy! I recommend using it after toner only.
TipI recommend using this more in winter than summer, and it's highly recommended for those with dry skin! If you apply it after just your toner, it provides just the right amount of moisture.

The texture inside is a moisturizing cream formula that's not too heavy even when applied with fingers. One of the biggest advantages of the Dokdo line is its skin-friendly ingredients. I've tried the skin toner, emulsion, and cleansing foam from this line, and despite having sensitive skin, I've used them without any issues. While I've switched to other products for the toner and emulsion, I'm still using the cleansing foam, which shows how well it suits sensitive skin.
ConsWhen my skin became sensitive, I used the Dokdo toner and emulsion. However, for my dry skin, they felt too light, so I had to layer the emulsion multiple times. I had high hopes that this light cream would reduce that extra effort. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations in many ways. Although it has a moisturizing cream texture, it feels heavy and a bit thick when applied. It does absorb quickly, possibly due to its texture, but it doesn't seem to address skin dryness. Even when applying a large amount (about the size of five 500-won coins), it only leaves a greasy feeling on the surface without providing deep hydration. My skin still feels dry underneath. Personally, I find layering the emulsion more effective in combating deep dryness and less greasy than this light cream. For me, this product was disappointing, especially given my high expectations.
TipIf you dislike any oily feeling or thickness on your face, you might want to skip this. I recommend applying a light layer of essence or emulsion after your toner before using this product.

Being a cream, it applies smoothly and leaves your skin feeling more hydrated than sticky. I usually apply it to my neck in the evening too, and I love that it doesn't feel overly rich there either. It's also fragrance-free, so there's no worry about scent when applying. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm often concerned about trying new cosmetics, but this one kept my skin moisturized without causing any major blemishes. Given the warm weather, it might be better to use it in the evening rather than the morning during summer.
ConsAs someone with extremely dry skin, I found it hydrating. However, for those with oily skin, it might feel a bit too rich for summer use!

Doesn't cause blemishes. While I need more time to assess its soothing effects, the hydration is excellent. Though it doesn't have any standout features, it's a solid, reliable choice. For those with oily skin, it might be better suited for fall and winter rather than summer use.
ConsIt feels a bit heavy for a light cream, with a thick consistency. Despite the description claiming it's refreshing, it doesn't feel particularly so. I have oily skin and it's summer, so I'm only applying it sparingly in certain areas. I'm skeptical about how well it would absorb if applied more generously. The lid tends to collect a lot of product, making it difficult to use neatly.
