If there's one positive aspect, it's that it claims to be gentle on the skin, which briefly made my heart flutter. That's about it...? I'd advise against using this product. It contains 4-MBC, an ingredient banned in Europe and the US due to concerns about hormonal imbalances and thyroid dysfunction. While Korea allows it in concentrations below 4%, I think it's best to avoid it when there are so many other great ingredients out there. I checked Hwahae and found that other TONYMOLY sunscreens also contain this ingredient. Swipe through the photos to see other TONYMOLY products with 4-MBC for reference. In late June 2025, the Korea Consumer Agency reported that this product's advertising claims about being gentle on skin were unfounded! Right after application, there's noticeable white cast, but it disappears over time! Plus, it's bursting with hydration. As hydrating as it is, it's also excessively oily and sticky. Even with my extremely dry skin, I'm using 4 oil blotting sheets a day because of this. Those with super sensitive skin should definitely avoid this. Personally, the entire Tony Moly Green Tea line caused severe irritation and blemishes for me. Overall, it's so disappointing that I won't be repurchasing. The product seems to have mixed results depending on skin type. While it provides intense hydration, it may be too rich for some, leading to excess oiliness. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious, as it could potentially cause irritation or blemishes. The initial white cast is a concern, but it does fade. I decided to give it a try due to its affordable price point. The color doesn't have any white cast, so I could apply it comfortably. Since it's a product with high hydration content, it doesn't seem to suit my oily skin type. The best thing about this product is how moisturizing it is! I have extremely dry skin, and with the wrong sunscreen, my makeup can flake and my skin feels parched. But this one absorbs well into the skin and leaves it feeling so hydrated. It's perfect to use before makeup and great for daily use without any worries. There's absolutely nothing to complain about!
