I have dry skin and have been using this for about a month. The absorption is decent, and the scent is pleasant. However, I find it a bit lacking in terms of providing deep hydration. It's disappointing that the moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last long after absorption. - su*******Combination SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2025
I bought this for winter when my skin gets dry and I was looking for an oil-based product. I chose this one because it has a toner-like feel, not just pure oil which can be hard to absorb and feel greasy. You shake it before use, and it absorbs quickly like a toner while keeping your skin from feeling parched like an oil would. The price is quite steep, so I don't feel comfortable using it regularly unless my skin is extremely dry. I applied it around my eyes instead of eye cream, and surprisingly, the area doesn't feel dry at all. - ye*******Combination SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It's a slightly runny serum. After shaking to mix, you pump it out to use. It's not sticky and absorbs well into the skin. There's not much to complain about... except maybe the price tag is a bit high. - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 13, 2025
It's incredibly watery, so you need to spread it quickly as soon as you apply it to your skin. It worked really well for my dry skin! I noticed a slight oiliness. But other than that, there weren't any issues. - al*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2025
✅ Why I bought it I have combination dehydrated skin and lately it's been feeling super dry with fine lines appearing. I was on the hunt for a good skincare base. While using a hydrating moisturizer is important, I chose a serum to build a solid foundation before applying cream. ✅ Why I chose this D'alba has always been famous, and I've wanted to try it. I was curious about their special ingredient - white truffle! ✅ First impression True to D'alba's style, this serum has a separated oil layer! The luxurious packaging always puts me in a good mood. ✅ After using I was a bit worried because it contains oil, but it doesn't feel greasy at all and absorbs quickly without any stickiness! After applying, you get an Inner Glow rather than a shiny look. It completely banishes dryness. It works well even for my combination dehydrated skin, so I think it would suit any skin type! There wasn't really anything disappointing! If I had to pick something, maybe the price...? It's a bit on the expensive side. The bottle is small, so it runs out quickly. - di****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
The scent is lovely, and after application, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, smooth, and moisturized. I'd definitely repurchase when I run out. I don't have any specific complaints. When a product makes me want to buy it again, it's a real winner. Though I wish the price was a bit more budget-friendly... Apply generously after cleansing. Remember to shake well before use. - ar*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 3, 2025
It's easy to apply, but it does feel rich on the skin. Might not be the best choice for those with super sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend this for sensitive skin types. Not sure if it's an allergic reaction, but it causes a tingling sensation when applied. - sm****Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 28, 2025
This seems perfect for dry skin during fall and winter. Despite containing oil, it absorbs surprisingly well into parched skin. Interestingly, it seems to absorb faster on drier skin than on moisturized skin - probably due to the oil content. Personally, I was quite pleased with the fragrance too. I'd definitely recommend this for those with dry skin! The texture suggests that applying too much might lead to blemishes. There's also the slight inconvenience of having to wipe your hands after application due to the residual oiliness. Rather than using it daily, it might be best to apply this on particularly dry days. - mg*****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2025
As someone with dry skin, this serum is my go-to every winter. It's definitely a must-have that I stock up on whenever there's a sale. While I don't use large amounts at a time, it's a bit disappointing that the quantity is so small. I wish they offered a larger size. - sp********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedDec 30, 2024
This product has separate oil layers that need to be shaken and mixed before use. Thanks to its oil content, it offers excellent moisturizing properties and absorbs well. It's particularly suitable for use during dry seasons like now. While it's on the richer side, it doesn't leave a film on the skin or any sticky residue. Instead, it absorbs lightly, making it comfortable even for those who typically dislike oily textures. Although it's great for moisturizing, it's a bit lacking in hydration. To prevent deep dryness, you'll want to use products with good hydrating properties like toners or skin lotions in your previous skincare steps.
