- Natural brightening effect without white cast - No eye irritation - Absorbs well - Gentle enough for sensitive skin, ending my search for the perfect sunscreen - While I appreciate the increased volume after the product renewal, it becomes difficult to squeeze out when nearly empty - Pricey (supposedly due to high-quality ingredients) - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2019
+ Super hydrating. The moisturizing effect gives a dewy, glass skin glow. + No eye irritation. Seems gentle on the skin! + First off, it threw a milia party on my oily skin... ugh. + It seriously pills and slides around so much that it's impossible to apply smoothly. I thought it was just me, but after reading reviews and watching Aecom's live, quite a few people experienced the same issue. Aecom suggested using less skincare underneath, which does help reduce pilling. However, using less skincare makes my skin feel dry, so I've just abandoned it... I'll write a review and toss it, I guess. For 29 years I didn't know what 'pilling' meant, but after using this sunscreen, I immediately thought 'Oh, so this is what they're talking about!' + I mentioned the dewy glow as a plus point, but some people might dislike it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2019
Deeply hydrating Gives a beautiful glow Brightens the complexion No artificial fragrance Gentle ingredients In summer, it can make skin look a bit greasy However, the dewy finish is still appealing - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2019
This is honestly my absolute favorite sunscreen ever. As someone with dry skin, I love a hydrating sunscreen, but I don't want it to be too oily - this one is just perfect. I used to use Sulwhasoo sunscreen, but this one is gentler and I like it even more. In winter, I always had to use Guerlain's hydrating base around my nose to prevent my makeup from flaking, but since using this sunscreen, I hardly reach for the Guerlain product anymore. It doubles as a hydrating base. You can feel how gentle it is from the moment you apply it. In the morning, after my skincare routine and while I'm drying my hair, this sunscreen replenishes any moisture lost during that time. I'm also reassured knowing that its UV protection ingredients have received an EWG Green rating. Whether I'm using a matte or dewy foundation, this sunscreen works perfectly as a base. Despite being so hydrating, it doesn't cause my makeup to pill. And there's no white cast! It's the best for me, so I'm on my 5th bottle now. I'm almost out and it's temporarily out of stock on the website, which is making me anxious! While it's perfect for my dry and sensitive skin, it might be too rich for those with oily skin. However, it's genuinely gentle and gives your face a beautiful glow before applying makeup. The best way to apply is by layering it thinly multiple times rather than slathering on a thick layer all at once! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2019
The absorbs well and feels gentle on the skin, which I loved the most. It doesn't cause any blemishes either. While it does have a white cast, it's not chalky but gives a clear, soft-focus effect that's really nice. In fact, when I went out wearing just this sunscreen without any base makeup, I got many compliments on how clear and good my skin looked. Although it's definitely gentle on the skin, it's a bit disappointing that it causes some eye irritation. It's also not the largest volume or the most affordable option out there. This applies to all sunscreens, but you need to apply a generous amount for it to be effective. If you apply plenty and finish with a puff, your next layer of makeup (base) will barely pill at all.
