You only need a small amount to work up a good lather. I've noticed a significant improvement in my scalp odor. Be very careful as it can really sting if it gets in your eyes. Also, the pump seems faulty or difficult to use, making it hard to dispense the product. For a scalp scaling effect, leave the lather on your scalp for a few minutes. If you choose to do this, rinse the foam from your hair and leave it only on the scalp. Be aware that it can make your hair texture feel stiff.
