Right now, I'm on my third bottle of Hwahae. It's really great for providing moisture at the very end. The scent is nice, and the moisturizing power is amazing, and it calms the skin really well. When my skin gets irritated and I apply it generously for about 2 days, using it while sleeping and everything, the irritation completely goes away.

A long-time dermatologist at the place I used to work recommended it to me, and I used it.
Although my skin itself is not bad, the redness is extremely severe, and even if I get a little irritated or hot, it turns red everywhere except my eyes and mouth, and that part gets extremely dry. And sometimes I get breakouts too.
Even before I finished a whole bottle, the redness was completely gone, and later the breakouts also started to subside.
In the winter, I used Esther because this was too dry, but from spring to fall, I used the essence + soothing gel + palm tree combination consistently. The product is gentle and not dry at all unless it's just the heater wind!

The moisturizing is quite good, so if you apply it generously to your elbows and heels, you'll find that the peeling skin is taken care of by the next day. Especially in the summer when wearing slippers or sandals, the rough, cracked heels can be a concern, but if you apply the lotion liberally the night before, it helps a lot.

Personally, I like the floral green scent, so it's not an issue for me, but the scent can be a matter of personal preference. Those who don't like scented products can stick to the regular daily lotion.

It also has minimal stickiness and absorbs quickly, so it's not burdensome to apply in the summer.

If you have atopic skin, I'd recommend the unscented version, but for a change of pace, the floral green scent is nice to use occasionally.
