  Pros

  This is definitely a reliable brightening moisturizer. It has a white, slightly rich texture. When applied, it naturally evens out your skin tone. You only need to use one pump for your entire face. I find myself reaching for it quite often.

  Cons

  1. Men typically dislike heavy or rich products, and this one feels quite rich. After applying it with your hands, your palms feel quite oily. 2. The fragrance is distinctly masculine, which might be polarizing. It doesn't smell like a typical cosmetic product, but rather like they've intentionally added a 'men's grooming' scent. 3. The lid opens too easily, so it often comes loose in my bag, leaving the product to roll around unsealed.

  Pros

  The advantages are that it's great for daily use, it has sunscreen functionality so you don't need to apply sunscreen separately, and the color looks natural.

  Cons

  It seems my skin just doesn't agree with Dashu. Even when using the all-in-one emulsion, I would get red spots. With frequent use of this brightening moisturizer, I'm developing unexplained red patches and blemishes, so I plan to stop using it for a while. After trying another brightening moisturizer with good ingredients, I confirmed that the Dashu product was the issue. Those with super sensitive skin should use this with caution.

  Tip

  You can achieve a more natural look by applying it to your neck as well. Squeeze a bit onto the back of your hand, then apply small amounts gradually using your fingers. It looks much more natural this way.

  I love how this product evens skin tone naturally without being excessive. The sun protection feature is also a plus.

  Cons

  The staying power isn't as good as expected. When applied in the morning, by lunchtime my natural complexion starts to show through as the skin becomes oily.

  Tip

  For best results, spread it evenly and then gently pat your face with a puff or your fingertips to achieve a natural finish.
