I tend to have redness, so I bought this Le Nuvere product after hearing it's great for soothing! It has a slight, indescribable medicinal scent. The hydration is excellent, and on days when my face feels irritated, I use it as a skin pack to reduce facial heat, which makes my skin feel comfortable. On days when my skin is super sensitive, the azulene ingredient can feel a bit tingly at first, though! The glass container is quite heavy! While it's not so fragile that it would break if dropped, it definitely leans towards the heavier side. - hy*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 4, 2025
My skin type ⭐ Sensitive/combination/prone to dryness ⭐ Slightly sensitive skin, acne-prone skin ⭐ Usage - Water-based toner and lightweight - But leaves a very bouncy and plump feeling after application! ⭐ Advantages - Good for calming acne - Also effective in soothing redness ⭐ Recommended skin types - Acne-prone skin, redness-prone skin! Cons - Writes irritating things (like ahabaha and the like..) and stings when sprayed - Too expensive... :'( Way too expensive for the amount!!!!! Additional: The cost-effectiveness is not that great... :( Skincare Tip - Use a hydrating toner as a toner pack => Dispense an appropriate amount of toner into your hands and gently pat it in 2 times (This alone can be very soothing) - te******Dehydrated SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I'm not sure which ingredient is responsible, but when I apply this on days with severe blemishes, they miraculously start to disappear. After using it for about 2-3 days, all the blemishes vanish, and while I'm using this product, I don't get any acne or blemishes. It's a go-to product for when skin troubles arise. The hydration level is fine for oily skin, but it's not enough for dry skin. Also, it has a sticky feeling. I liked this toner so much that I bought the cream too, but interestingly, the cream had the opposite effect on my skin. While it provided good hydration, it didn't help calm my blemishes. Using them together feels like they complement each other's strengths and weaknesses. - jw****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 5, 2025
I've been using this for half a year and I'm already on my second bottle. It doesn't leave my skin greasy and it's great for a light application. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't give an intense hydration feeling. - oh*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
It's an excellent toner for refining skin texture after cleansing. It feels refreshing and seems great for soothing the skin and managing excess oil. The high price is a bit of a concern. It would be nice if they offered a larger size or refill option to make it more cost-effective. - jd******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 23, 2025
I'm on my second bottle of this product. The texture is water-like with almost no rich feeling. It has a fresh finish and absorbs well quickly. The scent is slightly minty? It's similar yet different, but not overpowering. When applied to blemishes, it seems to soothe them rapidly. However, it doesn't necessarily prevent blemishes from occurring. That's why it feels a bit ambiguous. I'm not sure if it's incredibly effective, and the value for money isn't great, but I feel like I'm missing out if I don't use it. It's especially nice to apply in summer, so I alternate it with other toners. Although it's expensive, the volume is quite large, so once you buy it, it seems to last a long time. As you use the product, a white powder tends to dry and stick around the cap. - cv*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
Review after using half a bottle: This water-based toner is perfect for oily skin. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, and I've found it quite effective in calming blemishes since I started using it. The ingredients really agreed with my skin. Judging by product performance alone, it's a solid 5-star rating. When my skin flared up badly, it didn't seem to calm it as effectively. Considering it uses expensive azulene, the quantity is small for such a high price. The brown glass bottle is nice as it's not plastic, which is good, but it's heavy to carry around when traveling and tends to leak a bit. If you're sensitive to the scent of cosmetic ingredients, you might not like it. It has that typical soothing skincare product smell. Personally, I enjoy this kind of fragrance, so it was fine for me. Using it as a toner pack frequently can be beneficial. The main issue is that it's quite pricey. They include a mist spray nozzle with the delivery. - gk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 30, 2024
After pregnancy, I experienced a blemish party on my skin, especially around the chin area. I heard that pregnancy can change your skin type, so although I used to have dry skin, it seemed to shift towards a blemish-prone, oily feel. While researching, I decided to try this product and purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it on Hwahae Shopping, as it didn't seem like something they'd carry. It's a completely watery toner, light, with a scent that seems typical of the ingredients this brand uses. The fragrance isn't strong. The ingredients are good, which is why I use it. Being a toner for oily skin, it absorbs quickly or perhaps evaporates? Apart from the runny texture due to its watery formula, the user experience isn't bad. Recommended for oily skin! They shipped a pump dispenser with it, but the rubber gasket on the original container's opening wouldn't come off no matter what I tried. After several attempts, I gave up, fearing I might hurt my hand. If it was designed this way, why even include the pump dispenser? It's on the pricier side considering the volume for the price. I feel that a toner alone might not be enough to effectively combat blemishes. I just use it with the mindset of lightly evening out my complexion, but for noticeable results, a serum might be better. - mi*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2024
This product is packed with acne-fighting ingredients that work wonders for soothing skin and tackling blemishes! I applied two layers as the first step in my skincare routine, and I noticed a significant reduction in my small bumps. It also quickly calmed larger, inflamed pimples. Though it's on the pricier side, I'll likely keep purchasing it. While there's not much to complain about, the price point is quite steep. However, given how effective it is for acne-prone skin, I find myself buying it despite the cost. Rather than using the included spray, I found it more effective to pour it generously onto my face and let it absorb into my skin! - vn********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2024
I bought this during a group order based on Jeina's recommendation. It seems great for combination skin, and whenever I feel like my skin is about to break out or has already broken out, I reach for this product. It has a water-like texture and is essentially a toner. The absorption is also quite good! They provide a separate spray bottle, but the spray mechanism is poor, causing constant leakage. It feels like half goes on my face and half on the floor. And then there's the price... I think it would be better to transfer it into a fine mist spray bottle separately.
