It's gentle, but you can still feel the scrub granules, so you get a good cleansing feeling. ㅎㅎ

I usually used similar formulations from other overseas brands, but after trying the TM Maison products, I realized that the ingredients are really important! I use it in the shower, lathering it up like a body cleanser, and it's amazingly moisturizing, unlike the products I've used before. I have naturally dry skin, but I don't need body lotion anymore since using the TM Maison products. Even when I shower twice a day, my skin doesn't feel dry at all! 
And the scent, wow! They say it's an allergen-free fragrance, but it's such a refreshing and soothing aroma. Most body products have rather juvenile scents, but this one is so fresh and luxurious!
For problem areas like elbows with rough skin, I roll it directly on and exfoliate, and then use it as a body wash by lathering it up - it's like killing two birds with one stone!
