I was worried about damaging my hair with DIY coloring, but surprisingly, my hair felt softer after dyeing. To be honest, while the Moremo hair dye was good, the Recovery Balm in the kit was the real star. It was so impressive that I almost wondered if they included the dye just to promote the balm! 2. There was no irritation. I have sensitive scalp and facial skin, but I experienced no blemishes. No burning sensation or itching either, so I'm considering trying another shade.
Cons1. If you're expecting a vibrant lavender, you might want to lower your expectations unless you have very light pre-bleached hair. The lavender shade barely shows up. On level 1 bleached hair, it turned khaki; level 2 became grey; and level 3 resulted in an ashy lavender (and even that was very muted). I'm satisfied with the unique color it produced, but if you're aiming for true lavender, I wouldn't recommend this. 2. The color doesn't last long. While my hair typically doesn't hold dye well, the color washes out significantly with each shampoo. By the third day, most of the color had faded to a light beige. 3. The dye has a strong ammonia smell typical of hair colorants. It's manageable during application, but the scent lingers even after shampooing. On the first day post-dye, the pungent ammonia odor was quite unpleasant. I'd suggest using a strongly scented shampoo instead of an unscented one.
TipFor more thorough coverage, it's better to have someone else apply the dye rather than doing it yourself. If you want the color to last longer, I recommend using a color-depositing shampoo!

My hair is very fine and curly, usually turning into a frizzy mess after dyeing, but this product managed to keep it under control quite well.
ConsI used a primer to remove some of the color, but I was hesitant to do it multiple times for fear of damaging my hair. I ended up satisfied with a slight reddish-purple tint, though it wasn't completely neutralized.
