The color is truly one-of-a-kind!
ConsWhile it has relatively good staying power compared to other pencil products, the price is a real barrier to entry.

Pink-ade has a more artificial pink tone. It's lightweight and portable, making it convenient to carry around. While it's not particularly moisturizing or smooth, it applies with a slightly matte, pastel-like finish. This results in a natural and soft look, but be careful around eye wrinkles as it can settle into them. Recommended for a pure and translucent makeup look.
ConsThe dry formula makes it prone to breaking if you apply too much pressure. You need to buy a separate dedicated pencil sharpener. It's the worst... After using it for a while, it broke, so I bought a sharpener from another brand, but it kept breaking into pieces. It's seriously frustrating. It seems they've tried to prevent powder fallout by wrapping it in something like plastic, but that makes it even harder to sharpen. I might have to throw it away. They should have explained that there's a specific sharpener for this product or at least indicated it somewhere when I first bought it.

It's a pink shade with a hint of lemon, suitable for both warm and cool undertones as long as you have a bright skin tone. The texture is firm, not a soft stick type. It contains very fine silver shimmer, giving more of a matte eyeshadow with pearl overlay feel rather than a moisturizing shimmer shadow. The color appears brighter on the eyes than on the back of the hand. However, the pigmentation was more intense than expected.
ConsThe longevity is quite disappointing. It quickly creases in the aegyo-sal (under-eye area) wrinkles, requiring frequent reapplication and smoothing out with fingers. The firmness makes application a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, it's rather inconvenient to have to purchase a separate pencil sharpener and sharpen it frequently.
TipThere's no need to buy the pencil sharpener from the same brand. The Innisfree Dual Pencil Sharpener fits well and is much more affordable at just 1500 won.

It definitely makes my aegyo sal (under-eye fat) look plump and adorable
Cons1. The staying power is a complete disaster. It disappears by the time I get to work, so disappointing! 2. The pencil tip clumps up very frequently. I have to rub it on a puff before applying, what a hassle!

Occasionally, when applied over a base, the pencil part may clump a bit. To fix this, just gently scrape it with your fingernail or remove it with paper tape, and it'll apply smoothly again. It's similar to how you'd remove clumps from eyeshadow or blush. Depending on your base product, you might not experience any clumping at all. I often use a dewy base, so... ✨ Shade It's a pink shade that's not too cool-toned, doesn't look floating on the eyes, and applies with a bright, translucent finish! It's not an extremely cool shade, nor is it warm enough to bring out yellow undertones. If it were any cooler, it might be overwhelming for most cool-toned people to apply on their aegyo sal area. It's like Rom&nd's Dried Lavender...? It seems to be a universally flattering shade for both cool and warm undertones. (I heard the developer is working on a warm-toned version of Pink Eight for warm-toned folks...) Also, I love how the color changes slightly depending on the base eyeshadow you apply underneath. Since it's a translucent pencil shadow, when you gently apply it to your aegyo sal and top it with Clio Perfection Glitter, it really brightens up your look! I've included a photo with my recently purchased Rom&nd Zero Cushion for size comparison.
ConsThe price is a bit disappointing. Since it's a pencil, you also need to buy a pencil sharpener. They say it's unavoidable because it's made in a German factory... I'm not sure about that. I wonder why it was so difficult for them to release an auto-type product... And the size is quite small.
TipWhen the pencil shadow occasionally clumps, gently remove it with your fingernail or paper tape, and it will apply smoothly again. Applying Clio Perfection over the berry shadow looks absolutely beautiful!
