Pros
I love it. It's a product I've been using for over 7 years. I have sensitive skin and usually get clogged pores when using oil-based products, but the Avène formula is so lightweight and absorbs so well. After applying my full skincare routine, I'll add a couple drops to the palms of my hands, gently press it into my face, and it sinks in without any greasiness. The next morning, my skin is so soft and hydrated... I only use two face oils - Guerlain and Darphin - and the Guerlain one absorbs even better and has a nicer, more gentle fragrance, so I prefer that one. I love it.
Cons
When I have a lot of oiliness, just using one drop can cause breakouts.
Tip
It's great to mix with creams and use for neck massages (without rinsing it off, just let it absorb). In the dry winter, I'll put some Illi body cream in a silicone brush head, add a few drops of Avène Royal, and mix it all together with a spatula before applying all over my body. It makes my skin incredibly soft and comfortable. (Since it's a pricey body moisturizer, I make sure to really work it in and stand bare-skinned until it's fully absorbed.)

It's extremely dry...I feel like I don't find the Amore Pacific TR line heavy even when I use it in the summer.. I use it along with the Guerlain Orchidée Impériale serums... It's very watery and absorbs quickly, so there's no stickiness.. It's also fine to use with the Amore TR line It works well with the Lancôme Absolue line as well

I wish there were no granules...it's inconvenient to use with the granules mixed in

This is truly a life-changing oil. It applies so refreshingly and leaves my face feeling so moisturized with not a trace of excess oil after gently patting it in. The scent is also lovely, putting me in a great mood every morning when I use it.
Cons
It's amazing right after application, but after half a day, I'm not sure if I notice much difference. I guess you'd have to use it consistently to see the effects. The price is truly diabolical, but it does last quite a long time surprisingly.

I thought it would feel oily since it's called an oil, but it actually has hardly any oily feeling and is more like an essence. There are pearly granules that disappear as you apply it. The product itself absorbs very densely, so when I applied it in the morning, my cushion and foundation adhered smoothly, making my skin look much better than usual. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling, and there's no oily residue, so it's suitable for daily use even for oily skin. The scent is a sweet honey fragrance, but unlike other department store cosmetics, the scent is not too strong, which I liked.
