ㆍ My own review after purchase ㆍ The smell is unpleasant and it smells like an expired lipstick. Don't buy it. It's a bit pricey, but the Olive Young sales assistant told me it was a bad purchase. The smell is really awful. So it seems they just tried to sell it off cheaply. I want to send this to the Bobbi Brown lipstick manager and tell them about this~ Why are they selling this kind of product??

👍The flaking is minimal! My lips are usually prone to flaking, so I can only wear tinted products.😥 But the Bobbi Brown Ruby lipstick has minimal flaking, even for a lipstick! It has more of a creamy, moisturizing feel than a typical lipstick.😀 👍Makes my face glow like a fluorescent light💡 It really brightens and whitens my complexion! I can wear a softer eye look and this lip color, and my face will look so radiant and porcelain-like🐰

👎Lipstick smell! Even when I swatch it on my wrist, the artificial, chemical fragrance is so strong.ㅠ It has a slightly >>dull and heavy plastic, cheap makeup smell...<< And this is a Bobbi Brown product..😣😣 👎The color payoff is light? The color payoff is really sheer, like a tinted lip balm. The second photo shows the color after one swipe, and it's quite pale. I personally don't mind building up the color a few layers like a water-based lipstick, so it's not a huge issue for me!

👏 My lips also show a hint of purple! I think it's more interesting than a typical red lipstick, so I've been using it a lot😊😊

The color is beautiful, really beautiful. The application is also good! The price is not bad either! The lasting power was also better than I expected!

The smell is really like a crayon smell itself.. It's a scent that I personally dislike. And as time goes on, my lips become dry and start to crack, making the lip color look really unattractive..

Rather than using it alone, if you apply this as a base and then add a liquid lip product on top, the lips will stay pretty over time. And I really recommend this to those with thicker lips!
