With proper amount control, it should work well for most skin types. Though the texture looks rich, it's surprisingly less hydrating, so you might need to apply a hydrating product underneath. Use about a pea-sized amount, gently pat it onto your face to absorb.

However, if you have blemish-prone skin, it can cause oil buildup and breakouts if you don't control the amount well. It seems the advice to avoid caprylic ingredients for easily clogged pores is true. Even with the tiniest amount, I get clogged pores and sebum plugs.

At night, I use a toner and a hydrating essence to prep my skin, then I generously apply this cream and use a galvanic device.
The next day, my skin looks bright and plump.
