The texture is a rich, bouncy moisturizer that doesn't feel watery, but rather spreads nicely on the face with a satisfying consistency. It's suitable for a range of skin types, from oily with deep dryness to dry skin. When applied, it's definitely non-irritating and moisturizing, though it doesn't provide an overwhelming surge of hydration or completely eliminate deep dryness as the product name might suggest. The cream has a very subtle purple tint and while it applies smoothly, it doesn't absorb particularly quickly. If you're planning to layer sunscreen on top, it's absolutely crucial to control the amount you use. Considering its high price point, its performance as a moisturizer is just average. While the scent itself is truly luxurious, those with super sensitive skin might not appreciate it. Being a water gel, it's incredibly hydrating and absorbs very quickly. Even though I have blemish-prone skin, I'm using it without any issues. It's not quite enough to use on its own. I think it's important to apply a product containing oil on top of this to prevent moisture loss.
