It has a matte finish but applies smoothly.
ConsIt severely emphasizes dead skin cells. Even when applied to well-moisturized, smooth lips from the night before, it still accentuates flakiness. The color is an honest tangerine shade. It's a true orange mixed with white, which might not be easy to pull off for everyone.

It has a soft, powdery feel and applies lightly and smoothly. I highly recommend it as a base color for those with warm complexions.
ConsI expected a beige shade since it's called Shell Nude, but on my lips, it had a slight orange tint. It's more of an orange-beige feel.

The only good thing about it is that it absorbs well and feels smooth on application.
ConsThe color is terrible. It's way too fluorescent and overly warm - like a neon orange. It looks tacky as soon as you put it on. While it does go on smoothly, it feels like you're applying a crayon. The smell is also unpleasant, like something musty. It's off-putting. Also, if you have any dead skin cells on your lips, avoid this product. Only use it if you have perfectly smooth, plump lips. Anyway, I used it once and haven't touched it since. It's now banished to the back of my drawer.
TipIt might work well as a first step in covering dark circles. You could apply this lightly first, then follow up with concealer for perfect coverage.

I'll explain why in the 'cons' section ■ Doesn't cause blemishes on the lips ■ Decent staying power → It stays put unless you eat something, and it's nearly odorless and flavorless! ■ The case is pretty (I'll admit, that's partly why I bought it...haha)
Cons■ The color doesn't come out like the peachy beige shown on the official website (first photo) → I expected a peachy nude feel, but it's more like just wearing a nude lip color? For those with naturally pigmented lips, you might need to neutralize your lip color with concealer first for the true color to show, but that's a bit much... ■ Severely emphasizes lip wrinkles and dead skin cells, applies patchily → You absolutely must exfoliate your lips before applying this. Also, you can't apply it like a regular lipstick - you need to use a lip brush or pat it on gently. Even after exfoliating, it still applies patchily, so now I only use it for defining my lip line... Honestly, I think the Peripera Ink Velvet in 'Mandarin Coral' that I used before this product was better as a base.
Tip☆ Absolutely do not rub it on, instead gently pat it to minimize emphasizing dead skin cells
